8-22-12 - Just got the same taped message from 212.719.5900 about my Master Card being locked and to press one.  When I called Master Card, they told me this call was not from them.  It is definitely something to avoid answering.

Same thing happened to me today. They wanted me to enter my debit card number. I used my card later the same day with no problems.

Got the call also - definite scammer!  No bank would ever contact you about a credit card problem using a recorded message.

Just got the same call. Glad I'm a skeptical person and not gullible...it said my card was blocked and asked for me to enter my card number!

Same as the rest here .. it's 12pm MST and just rec'd a call stating my Mastercard had been locked ... press 1 to reactivate ... enter 16 digits.  Obviously a scam at that point.

They me at 11:00 at night and when I called right back the phone don't ring or nothing. So it let me know whatever it is, its not real.

This number just now called me at 11:36 at night.  Sooooooo mad!

said it was southwest bank and my debit card was locked.  i think not....i dont have a southwest debit nor account...so scammish i say....

Just got a call from this number telling me that my "Southwest National Bank" debit card had been locked...and to "push 1 to speak to a representative."  Needless to say, I don't have a Southwest National Bank account.

Received a call this morning from this number.  I don't answer any numbers I don't recognize.  I like this site to see what these phone numbers are all about.  I'm on the do-not-call list, but apparently it means nothing anymore.

We got an automated call saying Master Card debit card locked.

Got a message saying that my MasterCard debit card had been stolen.

Got the same call telling me my Mastercard debit card had been locked. No Mastercard debit card, so obviously phishing. Most of the times the number that shows up in caller ID is spoofed anyway, so they will just use this number for a while then switch to another. I should have pressed one and entered a bunch of bogus numbers (all 1's or somtheing like that, but no possibility of being a real number) just to take up some of their time sifting through false information.

Yup, same automated message followed by "press 1 to be connected to a representative."

Received automated call stating Master Card debit card locked, we don't have a Mater Card debit card.

Phishy...  Automated call / recording to inform me that my Master Card Debit Card was locked.  I don't have a Master Card Debit Card.

Scam, calling to let me know my Master Card was locked.
