called 3 x  on the 17th and 18th of Oct. 2011 and left no messages

The phone number is from a company claiming to be working for Google Maps trying to confirm a corporate listing. When I told them to take me off their call list, they started calling and hanging up every few hours. I already had three calls today.

In the last day and a half, received 6 calls from this number with no messages or anyone on the line.  called the number back an it is not in service.

Called multiple times over the last 3 days. No one on other end. "Not in service".

I have been getting the same calls from this number also. This number has called me 5 times today. I have called back once and the phone said this number is not in service. The first one was at 12:48 p.m., 3:46 p.m., 4:16 p.m., 7:48 p.m., and 8:58 p.m. Sure is B.S!!

This phone number keeps calling my cell phone number in Florida. When answered the caller hangs up and when I call it back I am advised that it is not a work in number.

They have called me 3 times today. Sometimes it rings once, sometimes it rings 3 times. Have not left a message yet

It's some sort of survey

rec'd two calls today(09/30/11)(12:00pm & 4:20pm).  rang three times...no message.

I've received 3 calls today alone from this number no message left because I refuse to answer a number I have no idsea who it belongs to, once at 9:17 am, then 11:37am and again at 12:57pm. What gives with these people?

I received 2 calls from this number tried to call it back and got an out of service message.

Same as other complaints, no one their after answer.

Recieved 2 calls since this morning. No message left. WE WILL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS!!!

September 30, 2011. Received a call from this # at 9:12 am California time. They hung up before I even had the chance to answer.

Thanks for posting. I have also had these annoying calls 3x a day- haven't answered. Thank technology for caller ID! I agree with riku- must be a scam. Why else would they not leave a message?

I've also been getting these calls about 3 times every day for the past few days, but don't answer when I see the number come up on my Caller ID. No message is left on the answering machine. I'm in Canada..... I don't know anyone in Manhatten !  It's obviously a scam which can develop somehow if you answer the phone !

9pm est rang twice, picked up a electronic voice said i was currently the only one in this confrence call and then there was a pause and then a dial tone sept-16-2011

Five days in a row received two calls per day.  No messages nor have I answered the phone

I got a few rings from them and if you try to call them back you will know that it's not a working number. What you can probably do is call the operator and find out what is going on.

I got this twice in the past few days. I am in Sacramento CA. Same exact thing 3-4 rings and no answer. I redialed and the number is not in service. Weird. Gearheads I have a question: What is the purpose of this type of call??

The machines are taking over and calling our phones.  WTF!

I've received 3 calls total 9/11/11, 9/12/11, & today 9/13/11. I answer calls I dont already have saved in my phone. No messages were left either. Decided to Google the number and found this. I don't know whats going on & I refuse to answer the phone.

Received several calls from this number last few days. I called it back and it said it was not in service.

I've been getting a lot of call from that number. Finally answered and it sounded like a fax machine.

Just received at 4:41 PM Sept 12 2011 rang 3 times no answer

I also got a call to my cell phone from this number. No message.
