These dumb @$$es keep calling me when my husband was screaming in the background I guess the dumb foreign dude got scared and hung up. Friggin idiot

Tried calling this number back and got "not in service", so not only are they scammers, they're disguising their real phone numbers.  Great.

Arabic accented man named "Michael Martin", calling from "American Cash Providers" (does not exist) with website "mycashpickup.com" (payday advance site).  Calling with "$1500 loan" and wanted to "verify information"; my tipoff that this wasn't right was that he wanted to verify a VERY old work phone number.  I refused to give him any further information and told him I knew this was a scam and I would be reporting them.  They called back (!) trying to get my routing number for my checking account and insisted they weren't scammers (but couldn't give me ANY valid details -- the phone number he gave wasn't even a real number, 725-100-3472, and when I told him NO US phone number has "100" in the exchange field, he insisted it was the number on his desk).  Hang up and watch your bank statements carefully; some of these people have gotten hold of actual bank accounts.

Got a call from someone with a Arabic accent claiming to be from a cash advance company and they will give you 1500 dollars if you give them your account information. It is a scam and not a legitimate company. They claim to be "from a city" in Oklahoma. The number is listed to NYC. Do not give these people any information.

Glad I Googled this number! I was called twice from this number today but never picked up since I didn't recognize the number. Caller did not leave a message either time. Tried to call the number back just now, and it said "Number is not in service." Good to know this is a scam.

Just got a call from that same number yest am.  When I  called  back today, it said the number was disconnected. Thanks everyone for posting, now I'm convinced it was a scam! Reported it to the National Do Not Call Registry....

Got call from this number, a man who could barely speak English. Thought the call bogus, looked it up and am glad I hung up on the person

I got a call and I didn't pick up because I was sleeping. He left a voicemail! At first I can just make out "Son of a b***h didn't pick up" or something like that. Then after that he's struggling and making noises for almost two minutes then muttering. It was weird.

thes guys are unbievable do***e bags. i have contacted every offical department i know (FBI, local police, secret service, FTC, attourney general) all say that it is somebody elses problem.  just don't give any money. They have been at this for years and the same s**t. We are not protected by any of our governemental agencies with phone harrasment . We have to deal with this kind of crap!!!!

Just myself echoing back with a two second delay, hello... hello... so I hung up. Then they called back again right away. Same delay but there was a woman on the other end this time who could barely speak a word of english. I took her three tries to say Universal Lending Group. I kept saying what...? Sounding like she was saying universal landing something... I thought it was about a flight I recently booked. As soon as she said the word money and loan I told her dont ever call me again and hung up. Sounds like I can expect more calls. Great!!

Indian person calling from overseas (heavy echo on the line).  Knew my first name (creepy that) said she was from Universal Lending Company.

I have had luck reporting these scam artists to the Secret Serivce and the local police.  They don't have a clue that in America we are not put into jail or arrested for not paying our debts.

These people, who you all have described to the "T." Want info and like most of you said when I tried to call them back it did nothing, didn't ring or anything. This man called me with a heavy indian accent and i was stupid enough to fill out the information and now i am worried to death because how could i be so stupid  i am going to cancel my bank account and as long as i am living i will never do this again.Please alert all people about this scam

WOW!!! I got the call from 1-358-965-4259... My daughter handed me the phone as I walked in the house, the lady on the phone had to repeat herself 3 times bc I could not understand her. She asked if I could use $1500. ? Of course everyone can use it..duh! Then I told her that I was not giving her any information..mail me the check, shs said that you wont have to give ME the information and it gets direct deposited in 24 hours, so I got on the computer. She said, DO NOT USE GOOGLE...(which was the last indicator that it was a SCAM) I went to the website just to "see".  But never put in any information, got scared and hung up. She called me back...my husband told her we were not interested and the first thing she said to him was, "this is NOT a scam."  DUH! She told him, i will stay on the phone the whole time, she will not have to "say" and information to me. He hung up, she called back, we did not answer!!! gggrrrrrrr

i just got off the phone with an indian [pakistan] man named ''ken'' from oklahoma !.......1-258-427-5681 was the phone # that called me on my cell,.........they call you  and herd you like lil' sheep-dogs over to their website [mycashpickup.com]........then you're supposed to fill all the info out and submit !.......i saw all these scam-warning sites [esp.here] and never made it over to their site !.......i was a lil' desperate and gave info on-line to a few payday-sites and my 2 phones haven't stopped ringing [20 a day/min.since last thursday] !,........i got more solicits from college-degrees online, buy a car, join a [cosco-type online store and develop credit/borrow ],because i filled out some apps for a payday loan......i never got a legitimate lender [unreal] !

Hey .. many people say that its a scam , but its not ...You have to read the terms and conditions before you submit the application, i am a telemarketer how would you expect a marketer to insist his customer to read the t&c ,he cant rite? that's is called business. you don't read it and you say its a scam .. they help us by giving cash in advance wit low int rate .. i got my payday the loan(short term loan) for 1100$ ... which i am suppose to pay back in a month  ... i have read all the t$c .. go read it first

These kooks couldnt ans. 1 legit question I had... An when I asked where they were and how many people worked there..he said OK City ,OK. and "more than 30"  I told him he neede to transfer me to someone who spoke clearer English.  Then the next guy (could have been the same???) had the same Indian (asian)
accent and I said if there are 30+ people, transfer me to 1 of those girls I hear in the background. He then told me he couldnt transfer me to anyone else and insisted I go to "his web page".  From Google  I instead went to "mycashpickup...SCAM"  and hit him w/the fraud, identity theft, etc. comments.  Which he tried to deny. However he could tell i wasn't following his dir. (saying I "had to.. etc) at which I told him I don't HAVE TO DO ANYTHING! If u want my biz, you'll ans. my questions!  After this , which was the 3rd call! he finally gave up/hung up. I Guess.  What a Dope! C'MON people we all know a southern drawl and ZI ain't talkin' Southern India!   BTW...my cell said "UNKNOWN ID"

PS.. 1st name was Robert  @nd Name Nick McKenzie... I really had a laugh w/ McKenzie and his THICK Indian/Middle Eastern accent.. lol

I know all the procedure you ve been through you have been scammed 80% PROOF The people calling you had a different accent because we are indians *They got you account details because your account is going to be debited with some amount soon according to ur approval of the loan (dont know how much) *you may or may not be qualified for the loan .if ur qualified you ll get ur amount anything between (500-1500) soon or else they ll take some 30 dollars from ur account claiming u have clicked some advertisement called voice net global ok what i want to say is this. Pass this message to everyone 80 % of Americans get cheated through this scam because they are not gonna get the money and their account is going to get debited 30 dollars the remaining 20% get the loan amount to their account but i dont know what is the interest rate . anyways people who fall into this scam are mostly poor please be aware of such things and warn ur mom and pop or anyone who is NIL in computer knowledge about this scam
