They're not just rude calling from this number, they're also condescending. Not just a man calling either, I got a female.

Leo from Unity.  Not so much rude as creepy/slimy.  He requested the owner by name, when I looked up his number and saw all these posts I told him owner was in a meeting and asked if he wanted to leave a voicemail, he said he'd just call back later and called me sweetie.

idjits call us too. Here is what to do...Unfortunately businesses are not part of the do not call laws. So...next time they call, act interested. Hell say you are the person they are calling about. Get some info on the company - name of caller, position, direct line, website and where they are located. You know, just friendly everyday kind of conversation. But avoid giving out info on yourself or company. What I do is while I am on the phone with them, I bring up their website, go to their contact page and fire off a cease and desist email. I then break in to the BS sales pitch, tell the caller that I am not interested and to remove all names and phone numbers associated with my company from their files and to consider this the first warning about calling. Hang up. Start keeping a log because they will call again. Ask for their boss and file another complaint.

Next, if they continue to call, follow up with a USPS (snail) mail letter to the company AND another email. Go to the BBB.org and file a complaint under their company name. You will probably find other similar complaints.

If they continue to call, and at this point they probably won't, file a complaint with your state and the companies State Attorneys General office.

There is a very rude aggressive man calling from this phone number.  Will not take no for an answer.  Beware of whatever this man is peddling.

Very aggressive pushy "VP" of a NY financial advisory.  Will not stop phoning.

Caller hung up on answer - I called number back and got "this number no longer in service" message.  Suspicious.

A guy named Leo calls.  He is rude and aggressive.  Looked up the number and it is a company called Unity Financials.  Wouldn't do business with them if they gave me a million!

Funny, I do business with them and they returned me 62% in two months on my money...If they gave me a million, I'd give it back and ask for more

Yeah, right 'mj' 'returned (you) 62% in two months on (your) money. I guess we know who you work for: Unity Financial.

This man is rude. Asked for my boss by his first name. When I told him my he was busy he wanted his mobile number. And was very rude because I wouldn't give it to him. Hope this man gets a real job and quits calling me.

My business line rang w/this number in CallerID. I was talking w/a client at the time but it sure looks like a "scam" to me. The AG should investigate them.

I got a call- before I could answer they hung up.  So I called the number back and got a "Kathy" at "Unity Financial".   I asked how I could help them, Kathy told me she dialed a wrong number.  Ok.  fine.  Two minutes later I get ANOTHER call from them.  This time from a guy names "Curtis" with a Brooklyn accent (strong) who "just wanted to mail me some information that your broker isn't telling you".  So I tell him to put me on his "do not call" list.   He then starts, without a breath of hesitation, to tell me that he can get me a lot of money for my investment.  I again tell him "please put me on your do not call list",    Curtis is rather rude in his Brooklyn accent, and tells me "Yeh, well stay small".  

Rude boiler-room con-man operation.

Amatuer investment brokers. Have a script and have no clue what to do off script. Trying to sell Wendy's stock. Went into insult mode way too soon.

This guy calls my boss regularly.  Acts like he's returning my boss's call and they're the best of friends and have business dealings together.  Smooth, I'll give him that, but too smooth to be believable.

Jeremy from Unity Financial called asking for my boss by his first name.  When the receptionist transfered him to me, he hung up on me.  I called him back and asked to speak to him.  Waited 5 minutes on hold.  Told him that he was very rude to call our company ask for our President by his first name and then hang up on me.  I read him the riot act and dared him to hang up on me again.  Told him to remove our number from his call list and never call again.  Probably won't work, but it felt good.

This telemarketing bully calls weekly.  Wants us to invest in Unity Finance.  Really???  Can't make it stop.  Hope this helps.

Got a call from this number, some guy asks for my father. I tell him he's not home, and say "Can I help you?" The smarmy guy on the other line goes "No that's okay" and hangs up! I hit *69, finally reach the other end, and got hung up on twice by the receptionist named Karen. Not good - I submitted a complaint to the Do Not Call registry.

Male caller asked for the principal who was out for the day. When told that the party he was asking for was out, the caller hang up abruptly. Crude, unprofessional, and unacceptable. The company's receptionist confirmed that the company is a brokerage firm by the name of Unity financial Advisors. Unity? What a name for a divisive opportunist to be a slave to.

Call from 212-785-4200 asked for me by first name, when I said "speaking" they just hung up.  I could hear a lot of other "operators" in the background and assume that they need people to call back for some reason.

Same experience as pms posted above on 8/26.  Multiple calls in succession, happening several times per day over several days now, from 212-785-4200.  I didn't pick up and am glad!

Got a call from Leo with Unity...very rude..told me to get my boss on the phone I said he wasnt available he said just give me his cell..I said no I will take a message and have him call you back..he hung up on me.

Got the same call several times.  Finally answered and told him that I have been averaging 60-70% returns on my stocks for the past couple months.  Said if he could guarantee to beat that in writing, then I would invest with him.  Havent heard from him since.

same guy: "Leo with Unity" says "oh he knows me, it's personal, just get the boss on the phone."  Request boss's mobile - when aked to leave voicemail, says he'll call back.

I just got a call from Leo - caller Id showed 212-785-4200, Unity Financial.  He asked for my boss said he knew him and was expecting the call.  Of course I said my boss was not available.  He was rude and persistent and even asked for my boss'cell #.  When he realized he wasn't going to get any information from me, he hung up on me.

Yup, I got a call and asked who it was as usual.  The guy said he was Armand.  I then asked what the call was concerning and he hung up.  I called them back and told them to take me off the list.  We'll see if that works.  

If you are getting really harrasedsp?) just send them a letter by registered mail saying you want off the list.  If they call back after that, just get your phone record and you could actually sue them for giggles.
