I get robo calls several times a day from a '347' area code that is about my "Con Edison bill"  but I'm no longer using Con Ed.  How can I stop these calls?

i keep getting phone calls from a 718-045-2234 that is invalid, and when i keep asking the operator for information they say they cant give anything.  im on the dnc call for a long time now, im filing a complaint

Got a call from this number - 212-189-5635 -prerecorded message claiming to be Con Edison and offering a way to lower my monthly bill. Put me on hold for several minutes before I hung up.Tried to call back the number and got a prerecorded message saying that my call could not be completed. I did a Google search without any luck.

I get a number from Colorado: 720-708-1000 and then it gives me the option of talking to an operator. When I pressed her for business information she told me the name of her company was "The Discount Center" and that was all she said. I asked for a supervisor and then got hung up upon! I called the Colorado number and it was just a weird recording of some guy reading off call numbers. I happen to be on the No Call List, so obviously they are hiding, so they won't have to pay penalties. Scummy Scammy people!

I get a spam call posing as "Discount Center," an initiative fitting people with various discount programs. I ask what their website url would be, and the operator goes, "It's just 'Discount Program'." Ok, I go to discountprogram.com, and of course, there is nothing but some crazy-looking server error code. Back to her, at which point she says, "Uhm...we don't have a website." WHAT???"

Then she proceeds to her pitch: "Congratulations - you have qualified to switch to something called UER Program!" I ask what the UER stands for. She deliberates for a moment for a moment and replies, "Utility Energy Revenue". It almost sounds like she's made it up on the spot. Again, there is no mention of this "company" anywhere online.

I smell SCAM!!!! Stay away.

Received call from 212-802-4204 on my cell phone did not recognize number so did not answer. Voice mail message left concerning discount on Con Edison electric bill. Message kept repeating.

I let the machine get it - they leave no message.  No name appears on the caller ID - just the number

Received several calls from (212)-802-4204. Supposedly they're a "Discount Center" that offers to save money on the ConEdison electricity bill. It sounded very unconvincing and now that I'm checking, there is no information available as to the identity of the owners of (212)-802-4204 as would be the case if they were a legitimate organization.

This is another switch your utility carrier call. IOW a scam, they bait you with a low initial rate then BAM, your monthly bill triples.
