3 times on my google voice number, set to "spam"

I also receive like 6to7 calls from this # on a daily basis it is very upsetting!

HAVE BEEN CALLED SEVERAL TIMES FROM THIS NUMBER ON MY WORK PHONE IN THE LAST MONTH. CALLED MY LOCAL POLICE THEY CALLED THE NUMBER AND THE GUY ALSO WITH A STRONG INDIAN ACCENT TOLD THE OFFICER  HE KNEW ME VERY WELL AND I WAS A PROSTITUTE THAT DID SERVICES FOR HIM AND I HAD $200 I STILL HAVENT PAID HIM AND ASKED THE POLICE FOR MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER!! THE OFFICER ASKED FOR HIS ADDRESS AND THE GUY THEN HUNG UP ON HIM, THIS IS VERY ANNOYING!!!!!!!!1

My GF got several hang-up calls from this number. What they did not know is I work for one of the Regional Bell Telephone companies. This number is registered to an automobile leasing and finance company. They also appear to provide 3rd party extended warranty coverage for new cars. Further delving indicates the owners are located in CA but are established in India. My suggestion is to call your local Regional Telephone provider (Pacific Bell, Bell South, Verizon etc..) and register a complaint. I would also contact the FCC "Do Not Call" Registry at follow website and follow the instructions to have them fined for a monetary forfeiture: http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/tcpa.html If they get enough $1000-per-call fines from the FCC this will stop their telephone games very quickly.

called my house and told me my wifes ford warranty was about to expire,my wife doesnt own a ford nor do i...i told them to f*** off,take their scam somewhere else and hung up

They called in regards to the "honda" I own. I don't own a honda. She asked if my husband had one and used his first name. I said no and was about to ask how the hell they knew my personal information and she hung up on me. Very very very weird. I called the number back and the voicemail said I had reached "customer service" and if I wanted to be on their do not call list to leave my number. I did not, I'm afraid to give these people my phone number.

got 5 calls in the last couple of hours. WTF?
is there anything i can do about that?

6 phone call over the past 3 hours WTF???

Unwanted calls from 213-256-0058

Got around 5 or 6 calls...no message and when I tried to call back I get a beep and a recorded voice that says,"Thank-you for calling".  That's it the # is 213-256-0058 from Los angeles.

this number 213-256-0058 calling 2-3x daily.  call the number back and leave a message on remove number voicemail. may want to contact local police on how to proceed if they continue harrassing you.

If someone answers, please post - like everyone else on this thread I have had about 6-7 no message calls, or rather 4 second blank voicemails from this #.

Wondering what can be done to stop these things.  Does anyone know?  Seems like phone calls used to be dependably legitimate most of the time, but now, even though I've always been unlisted, and I've subscribed to the "do not call" lists, over 50% of mine are "spam".  In the doctor's office where I work, it's even worse.  I think 3 out of 4 calls are solicitations or just hang-ups like this one.

I have about 10 caller IDs from this # - "customer service".  They left no message for any of those calls.  Just now I was there when they rang and I picked up, but nobody spoke.  Creepy!

HAS GOT NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS SAYING THAT MY ELDERLY BEDRIDDEN DAD HAS BOUGHT A 2006 LINCOLN AND THEY NEED SOME MONEY. ( IN WHICH IS NOT TRUE)  MY DAD HAS BEEN TOTALLY INCOMPETENT SINCE 2008. I KEEP TELLING THEM HE IS UNABLE TO SPEAK AND THEY HANG UP BUT TO JUST CALL BACK IN A DAY OR TWO. GETTING VERY TIRED OF THE HASSLE....

me too on my work number. 3 times this afternoon. No clue what this is about.
