I just received a similar call. Left a voice mail requesting I contact them at another 888 number within 48 hours, otherwise I might receive more consequences. The guy, John Spencer, claims that I owe money somewhere or something and to call with my "case number."

I'm a student. I don't have a case against me. I don't have any loans out. Must be scam.

The exact same thing happened 2 us!

This happened to me too. The same exact two numbers. I gave them no info and blocked their numbers.

Continued to call my work number claiming urgent action was needed for some claim against a guys name that the robot voice butchered. Last call out of 4 claims I had 48 hours to comply.
Almost tempted to mess with these guys but then they will know someone is here.

This number called me a few days ago but I didn't answer and then looked on here and am glad I didn't. They called back from a different number just now 213-550-4678 and only left a partial message with same BS about calling them back or a complaint will be filed. This the second company to try this tactic with me in about 3 months. I got the last one to quit calling after she cussed me out cause I wouldn't give my info and pay. So I cussed her out and told her never to call again or I was going to the cops.

It is all a scam. They had zero correct information about me. It was for a loan at a bank that I never took out or banked with. The wrong state and address. I told them to serve me papers if it was real. Nothing came. Don't answer and don't give any information.

I heard an automated message; "This is not a marketing or sales pitch call. Press 9 to check your messages." I hung up. This was obviously not related to me.
