I started receiving calls today from Alex Johnson.  He told me I had warrants out for my arrest for a payday loan I received in June from US Cash Advance.  I never received a loan and they had my info.  I told them that i did not receive a loan and he instructed me to call Mike Walker at 213-943-3055 (he called me from 323-696-1761 LSAN DA 09 CA).  Alex is pretending to be with Hudson Law & Investigation.  Mike is pretending to be from US Cash Advance.  I am reporting them ASAP.  When I told them that I thought this was a scam they became very irrate and told me they would see me in court.  They said I would have the papers in my mail in 2 days.  I am contacting my bank to let them know of this incident also.

I have gotten numerous calls from this number as well, the man with the foreign accent has left me voicemails, saying he was from the FBI, and that there was going to be a warrant for my arrest, he even had the last 4 numbers of my social security number. This is NOT ok!

I also got a call from this number, it was from an Arab man named William Black identifying himself to be an Officer from the State of California. He too also told me that I was being sued for a pay day loan that I had not re-paid that I had deposited into my bank account, first which he told me was in August, then he changed the date to June. Before I caught on the fact that this was a scam, I told him that this was a mistake. He had all of my information, he began to threaten me and told me I was going to be sued and it was going to cost me thousands of dollars. I then told him I thought this was a scam and he was not an "Officer" of anything just some phone room caller and he began to get very angry and aggressive, calling me a stupid woman and told me their lawyers were going to "f@#" me hard in court...he was so disgusting. It was very harrassing, after reading all of these e-mails and dealing with their call yesteday I can't believe someone cannot shut down their number. Why do we have to continue to be harrassed? I filed a complaint with the FTC, and put an alert on my credit..I suggest everyone do the same.

Im still getting these calls.. Now I have a new name... SCOTT THOMAS... I've been filing a harassment complent with my local police department... FTC... Now I have my LP manager at my job tracking all calls made to the store.

I keep receiving calls from 213-293-6072. The man has a foreign accent and constantly is calling me at work. I just received a call from him and first he stated he was the Sheriff calling. Then he called back asking for me. I told him that if this is a personal call please call my number at home because if you have my work number then I know you have my home number. Then he demanded to speak to my boss. I told him if this is a personal matter you do not need to speak to my boss. This is between me and you. He never told me what company he was calling for so I am sure this is a third party call. He kept calling (about 4 or 5 times back to back) then when I picked up the phone again I told him to stop 'f---) harassing me at work. He then called me a 'm-----f----)'. This is totally uncalled for and I need to find out what company he is calling from. Please assist me in this matter. I want these calls to stop. Thank you

I received the same disturbing call today. They mention that they are an "officer of the Federal Goverment and a warrant was going to be issued for me".  Apparently, I was given a payday loan in May 2011 and when they tried to get their money back, it was returned.  Funny thing is....I didn't even have this checking account in May.  I printed out a bank statement just to prove to them that no such deposit of $300 was ever given to me and the man begin yelling at me.  I was threated that I was going to jail if I did'nt comply. He then went on saying if I pay today with a credit card, I would not have to appear in court.  After arguing with this non-English speaking person, I called the police and reported them. This is a complete scam and I'm sure many people out there fall for it, but I'm not one of them!!!

I ave been getting numerous amounts of unwanted phone calls from a man name Jason Williams from a lawyers office stating that I owed them money which is untrure. They had all my information I have changed all of my accounts they keep calling my phone daily back to back. Stating that if I dont pay them they will send me to jail I have made complaints to the proper authorities people please know that this is a SCAM A BIG SCAM. These are Arabs there using american name they speak hardly any english and when they do there very rude. Ignore all these calls please protect yourself from this times are to hard for Arabs to be using this method to support there country. This should be against the law where is America when we need them this is unfair acts and practices against people that work hard for there money.

James Colt called my job 50 times.. this morning my area manager and store manager was caught in the cross fire.. So we called my local police department to fail a report and notify my loss presentation manger to keep him posted..This s*** is irritating..I'm closing my current bank account and changing my cell number.

I had a phone call today and a few weeks ago from 213-293-6072 talking about a warrant and they are cops and this and that. Tell them to go to hell and block them from calling you! There is no one in the world that would send you to JAIL over a payday loan! Collections yes! Jail arrest NO!

I recieve these calls also.  If you have ever used a serch engine for finding online loans/payday advances or even just requested information about getting a payday advance/loan then that is most likely how they have gotten your info.  I spoke to the legal department for one of the companies they claim to be representing.  After confirming with me that I did NOT owe them they explained thats how those people probably got my information.  They can purchase it from certain sites.

They are illegal. Everything about them is illegal. Contact your State Attorney General's office. They will instruct you on what you need to do. They are not with a law firm. If they threaten you in anyway then make sure that you let the contact at your State Attorney General's office. The more they call people the more they can be tracked so please report them. I do not owe money nor did I take out a loan. If Id did then it would not matter because it is illegal for anyone to make threats period. They cannot put you in jail, they cannot bring charges against you. They are looking for quick cash and use scare tactics to try to get you to budge. You most likely gave information when you took out a payday loan. They got hold of your information and are trying to use it to scare you. Botton line - it is 100% a scam!

On 09/27 this nubmer called me over and over - my job and cell - I could hardly understand what they were saying - they stated they are from the Hudson Law Firm - they left a message stating if I did not call them back within 24 hours they would walk the papers to the court house immediately -They have the last 4 digits of my ss# - I did not call them back and it is kind of scary if anyone have any suggestions please reply

I too have received 15 or 20 calls from this number same message just today at my work. I don't know about the rest of you but I applied for a pay day loan and I believe this is were the info is coming from because i suppliedmy social and account info etc on a application to one of those supposedly trusted lender matching sites. The reverse number look up tells me its a halo wireless phone number based out of Los Angeles CA. I plan on contacting my local police and the bbb and whoever else there is. Has nayone found any other info?

I received a phone call from the same people.. I could barely understand him.. he left a message stating he was an officer from the federal government and that a warrent was going to be issued for me regarding a loan.. they have the last 4 of my ss#... Has Called several times and is very rude

i started receiving calls from these people after i went online and applied for a loan, they say they deposited 250.00 into my account and when they went to get it back my bank would not let them take it, i got statement from my bank all the way back to may when i opened my account and there has never been 250.00 deposited into my bank just i like i knew, i would know if i had an extra 250.00 in my bank,  anyway now everyday i get at least 2 calls at work harrassing me about charges are going to be filed agaist me and my ss#, and i receive at least 2 to 5 calls at home, all very threatening and all from people who you can barely understand and nasty messages about if i choose to ignore all they can say is good luck to me an my attorney, yet when i ask them when was this money put in my account, what day was it , what bank was it, what account #, well of course they do not have any of that information, but yet they have the nerve to call and make threats.  i hope we can all get this reported and send some nasty people to prison.

Someone that was foreign and spoke terrible english called me at my work and on my cell phone saying that I took out a payday loan with CashnetUSA in Dec 2010 and that I never paid it back and am being sued.  I NEVER took out a loan with them and they would not give me any additional info.  I asked to speak with a supervisor and they hung up on me...TOTAL SCAM!!!!

this person called my home five times in two days telling me that I was going to jail, if I did not pay them and their law office. He told me his name was Scott... with a accent from INDIA! BE VERY CAREFULL... This one is a doozy.

how can we stop these people. i keep getting calls several times a day. i told them i knew they were scammers and told me theyd have me arrested. i told them my father who is in the polkice department wanted to speak with them , refused told me to talk to their lawyer and i asked for the info. of course nothing. i also asked to speak with manager and of course nothing. they have all of our personal information.. there has to be something we can do other than filing a complaint i want the F******* to rot in prison.. i just keep getting the run around.
