I hate getting repeated unwanted block calls. Communication blue wont stop calling.

It is not legit. I have several friends who work AT google... and they don't operate like this.

This is an autodialer - the caller ID at my office came up as McBlue Telecom, and it was a recorded message that says to update your google listing you should press 1, to remove your name from the calling list, press 2. It will go on and on for as long as you stay on the line. I stayed on long enough to write down the phone number. DO NOT press a button. All that does is let them know that they reached an active line, and they will continue to call even more. I have been an administrative assistant for more almost 20 years. I have learned little tricks like this!

OR - get the Do Not Call law changed so it also applies to business phone numbers that opt out.

Then we can go after them. Keep in mind that right now, it is not illegal for telemarketers to call a business phone number. That doesn't mean that I'm happy about the calls, but just ignore them,

Our business is a very local-based one in Georgia. There's no way anyone in L.A. has any business with us.

Received a call from McBlue Communications. I didn't recognize the name and didn't pick up. The message left was about Google Listings. I did not follow instructions to press numbers for continuing or discontinuing as that can be dangerous. You can file a complaint with http://www.fcc.gov/

What a bunch of dooshes.  Robocall to business line in a very urgent voice...PRESS 1 NOW TO UPDATE YOUR GOOGLE LISTING.

Hey, I'm in the mood to jerk someone around...I pressed 1.

Got a couple of those overseas sounding rings...then click...cut off.  Never got a chance to jerk anyone.  So disappointed.

Idiot pre-recorded message directing me to press 1 if I wanted to update our Google listing or 9 if I wanted to be removed from this "offer."  I pressed 9, even though I know it was useless.  The message violates FCC regulations regarding pre-recorded messages but this type of caller doesn't care because they know the FCC is toothless and they're likely not even in the country.

Idiot repeating recorded message directing me to press 1 to update our Google listing or press 9 if I want to be removed from this "offer."  Pressed 9, even though I know it's a waste of time because these idiot spammer/scammers don't care.  The message itself was in violation of FCC regulations regarding pre-recorded messages (no company identification, no valid call-back number) - not that either the FCC or the law-breakers care.  Eviesdad is right about the uselessness of complaining to the FCC.  Griping at a stone will get you as much satisfaction.  Using said stone to crack the thick heads of these illegal callers would be even more satisfying.

This number is now being used by a company selling Google update services. I didn't take the call but I'm familiar with the service and it is nothing you can't do by yourself in 5 minutes. The basically target small business owners and tell them that people can't find them on Google because their information isn't current.

Wants me to update my Free Google Listing ! I have asked the time and time again to stop calling. They never speak good english and are taking time away from my customer.  The number that called is 213-330-4521

Showed up on my CID as "Unknown Name."  My UNIDEN automatically blocks "Unknown Names."

FACT 1 - the DNC list CLEARLY does not work!  Everyone knows this...or you should know this by now!
FACT 2 - filing a complaint with the FCC does not work!  A total and complete waste of time.  Been there.  Done that.
FACT 3 - having an unlisted phone will not help you.
FACT 4 - asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list ? you?ll get laughed at!
FACT 5 - no "class action" law suits are being filed and certainly, none are being LITIGATED.  
FACT 6 ? contacting the BBB ? LAUGHABLE!!!  The BBB and the National Chamber of Commerce are corrupt organizations that sell their ratings to the highest bidder.  You can forget them.

Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset.  Very, very convenient.

I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.

NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.   THEY CAN?T GET THROUGH!

We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone!

I've received numerous calls from this number in recent months - asking if I want to update my Google listing(s)...

I called Google headquarters in California today, May 15th, 2012.

Google is not in any way, shape or form behind these calls, and are not responsible for them...

So that establishes that this is a SCAM of some kind...

Just an idea ... if you have call forwarding, forward any calls from this number to the number of your local FBI office. That'll piss the FBI off big time!!

Recorded message about updating a Google listing.
Just prior to this call there was a hang up call from 877-269-4965, which is reported to be another suspicous number.   I think the first call was to verify the line was a valid one, and the second one was the scam.

THIS CALL COMES IN TO MY PHONE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK.  I HAVE SOON RECOGNIZE ALL THE FAKE CALLS COMING, SO I JUST DON'T ANSWER.  THE DO NOT CALL REGISTER DOES NOT WORK, AS I HAVE BEEN WITH THEM FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS.  THE TELEMARKETEERS STILL GET THROUGH.  JUST DON'T THE PHONE.  WRITE DOWN THE NUMBERS THAT CALL, IF YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER DON'T ANSWER

You can put a block on your credit report that stops outside concerns from being able to pull it. You have to put an individual block on all three agencies. When you go to get credit, like a mortgage you have to remove the block so you should ask the place where you are getting the loan which agency they use and explain it is blocked at the moment. Blocking and unblocking costs about 10 dollars each way per agency and it takes time.

they have called me a number of times . the massage states they want to up date my business listing on google or press 9 to be removed for our call list . i have press 9 every time they call it does not work for the last 60 plus days i still get calls . does the law not state you have to be removed from there call list with in 30 days ?
but heres the best part i closed my business 8 years ago .

This (213) 330-4521 calls and does not answer and hangs up after 1 or 2 min. Weird!

These idiots keep calling about some bill that I owe - I have NO idea what they are talking about! I have told them this several times but they continue to call!

Just received a call from this group on my cell phone, which I did not pick up.  Read all the posts about this number being some Indian scam.

That does it mean you trapcalled them and what do you mean that you put a lock on your credit?

They called my business line but when answered, all you could hear was static.  The call immediately disconnected.
