They keep calling my work # and when I answer no one says anything. I finally called it back and pressed one for them to stop calling. Hope it works.

Whats the scam? We continually get calls from them but they only hang up. Then when I call back I press 1 to be removed....to no avail.  I dont understand what they are getting from this?

I have been getting this call several times a day all week and she finally said she wanted to update our directory.  Another scam call.  Told her to quit calling and hung up on her.

Received a call from 2133333221.  Did not answer.  Caller ID said name was "2133333221".

Just received a call from this number. I let it go to voice mail no message left.

They've called here a few times, i blocked them. I don't do business with losers who interrupt my day & illegally disregard the do not call lists. .

Their robo caller - calls my business everyday for the last two weeks, dead air, then hang up.

They asked for the owner of the company - I replied, is this the funeral home? They said no. I replied, I'm sorry the owner died yesterday. The person took a long pause and with an Indian accent said, aw, aw, I'm soddy and hung up.

They called , didn't answer, was on other line. They left no message . I called back and the recording kept insisting I click on #1, to stop getting messages, when it doesn't even tell you the message ¿

What an annoying little prick!

Called my business number about my yellow pages listing with USA Directory.

Told the foreign accented caller I didn't want any listing.

She said I didn't understand her.

I told her I understood perfectly but wasn't interested.

In response to "Techies Help" ... this is what I do. Get a Free Google Voice Number. Then add one of your phone numbers initially (just because Google requires it). Then after you are setup, uncheck that number, so basically if anyone calls your Google Voice Number it will ring 4-6 times & then go to voicemail (your phone won't ring on your end, but the person calling in will hear 4-6 rings). Now you will need to forward all your calls (from all your phone numbers) to your Google Voice Number. Basically your phone will never ring and all of your calls will go to this new Google Voice Number. You can then go into Google Voice Settings (with your Internet Browser) and put a check to send Missed Calls & Voicemails to your e-mail and/or to your cell as a text message (so when your important calls come in from friends & people you actually want to speak to, you will know that they tried to reach you). Now for the best part ... login to your Google Voice Daily & any of these "Scam Callers" that call, you simply click block & the next time they call it will play a Message to them that your number has been disconnected or no longer in service. I use Google Voice this way as a Free Secretary for my small business & I add at least 2 numbers a day to the Block List. Google also uses "Global Spam" to automatically block callers that have been identified as Spam by many other Google Voice Users. This is not the way Google Voice was designed to be used, but it works for me & my phone never ever rings & I have full control of when I speak to anyone. Hope this helps. Your Computer Technician could read my Instructions & easily setup this for you. You could also setup Google Voice so that when people call your number(s) your designated phone rings & you can still block scam calls, but my way makes it to where you never even have to speak to the scam callers at all. The down-side to my method is that your friends & business acquaintances may think of you as "unfriendly" since they will never ever be able to reach you on an incoming call, but as long as you see the missed call & promptly return the call, they should be fine with it. I get a text message instantaneously on my cell to alert me to the Missed Calls & Voicemails. I would like to hear if anyone out there has come up with an even better method than what I described (unplugging the phone doesn't count ... LOL).

Call once per day in the afternoon or evening. No one on the other end just silence and the call disconnects.

I too have been having the same problem.......what solved it for me is that I have a fax machine & when I the number I just hook up the fax machine. If it is anyone else (friends or family) they call my cell phone to inform to disconnect my fax. After a while these people get it that they're calling a fax number & they stop. Just a suggestion........Maybe until the government can find away of stopping them from calling.......either way they get tired of hearing that irratating fax noise in their ears. I say a fair exchange.

I do not know why, when I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, why they feel it is ok to call me? All day long, 7/24 I swear, there is always someone calling. I hate that even though I block the number, they call from a different one. What good is the list if no one goes by it? Another scam from the USA GOV?

Could be just a computer profiling when you are home and when you are not.
This information is valuable to telemarketers/solicitors as they don't waste
their valuable time.   (Your time isn't considered valuable)
At any rate, they are nothing but a bunch of (uncleanly illigitimates!)

They are annoying!  They call and hang up.

They have been calling my cell phone every day now for a week and when they hear my voice they hang up.  Maybe they are expecting to hear an elderly voice on the phone and keep calling back hoping they will answer.  Phones have blocking for individual phone numbers or most do, that is what I did.

When I see this number on my caller ID, I just don't answer my phone.  May as well stop calling!  If I don't recognize a phone number or the number looks suspicious, I ignore it!  When I see the words "unknown", "unavailable", or "restricted", I ignore that as well.  I know the numbers of all my friends, family members and business partners and those phone calls are the only ones I answer.
