I've been receiving calls from this and another number of the same company which is 213-710-8112. I've just tried to be removed from call this.  We'll see.

I received a phone call with an automated message.  When I called back they had another automated message offering to put me on a do-not call list.  The message says this may take up to a month.  I have systematically pressed "1" to get on this do-not call list for approximately a year, yet I still receive these phone calls.

Yep, scammer. I was actually home for a change when this call came in and was able to press 9 for "more information"...when I too got "Chad", he gave me the same schpeil. When I told him I didn't have a credit card and that I thought this was a scam, he started with the name calling and profanity. I hung up, of course.

Woe betide the people that actually fall for this crap.

I was waiting for an emergency call about my sister's cancer surgery and when the phone rang at 10:05pm central time, I ran to the phone thinking it was about my sister's surgery.  The caller ID said "cellular call", so I thought it was my brother in law calling from his cell.  It turned out to be from 213-363-5118 saying they could lower my interst rates!  I was IRRATE (to say the least) and slammed the phone down!  I thought the telemarketer idiots weren't allowed to call after 9pm??

I don't have a credit card and get these calls on my cell.  Also from 213-710-8112.

Received call on my cell phone this morning.  Did not answer.  They ledt no message.

I received a couple of calls from this number but I let them go to voicemail.  I called the number back and got an automated message which said "Press 1 if you do not wish to hear anymore of our offers."  I pressed 1 and have no longer received any calls from them.

These scammers are crooks misrepresenting and need to be stopped dead! Where is the FBI,Police,Homeland security? They are never around when you need them. They are public parasites!When asked for there company name, a man named chad hung up!

They misrepresented themselves as if they were cardholder services from my bank and did i want to lower my rates. I get 2-3 calls a day sometimes. This is a scam operation! They are lying to the public and the FBI is not doing their job as usual.

just got the same call like everyone else here. first time they have called me though, probably not the last i'm sure.

i don't usually answer numbers i don't know, but i did this time. and i pushed 9 and some guy said "thank you for CALLING card services. how can i help you?"

I said " i just got a call to lower my interest rates."

and he hung up. lol wtf?!

like someone else said another number to add to my ignore call list.

i wish telemarketing was banned! for real!

Rec'd recorded announcement from Rachel at Credit Card Services, offering lower interest rates on my credit cards. I was asked to press "9" if I was further interested. I was connected to "Dave" in Card Services. He asked if I pressed "9" to inquire about lowering my interest rates. I said yes, I did press "9", but to have him add me to his do not call list. When I said that, he hung up.

want to lower my credit card account. i don't and have never had a credit card.

Just ignore the call.Getting mad only hurts you. These are robo calls and when you push the number and talk to a human and aren't interested in their service, they don't make any money so they get rude. These are kids making minimum wage with a 500% turnover.

Law enforcement has too many much more important things to do than monitor calls. I had money taken from an account by someone in Canada. I talked to a Texas assistant AG and she said I could file a report but no one would read it. They weren't wasting time since they would never find the people to prosecute. She said there are groups of complaints that are filed but never acted upon, such as warranty and debt. The recent federal charges against the debt reducers was not because of the phone calls but because of people who acted and lost money.  

I actually got a kid on the line from one of the warranty companies. He wasn't that bad. He was just a college kid reading a script. He did say that since thier system gave him my number when it transfered, most don't, they put the numbers of the people that played with them on the best list and sold it as a great lead to other companies. So, telling a human not to call actually gets you more calls.

The best advice is to hang up; it's annoying but worst things can and will happen.

Just got a call but left no message.  I wonder if this is because I use 1-800-CALL-411 (free 411 service) and perhaps they sell my number to scam artists?

I received this same call about my credit card account and "press 9" to speak to a rep... I just hung up. After reading these posts I think if they call back I will deliberately waste their time and keep them on the phone as long as possible before crushing their hopes that I am going to buy into there scam.

I work in a cardiac cath lab and this number(213) 363-5118 keeps calling and when we have tried to stop the calls the people are quite rude and hang up. This is quite annoying when we are trying to provide patient care, and in emergengies when we are trying to await physcian calls

Another phone number added to my "Ignore Call" list.
I've been getting these weird calls from numbers that are not on my address book and i never answer them. But then i come to this webiste, and thanks to all your comments now i have a list of numbers added to my "Ignore Call" list. Thanks folks. So far i have the following phone numbers: (240) 556-9958; (646) 843-0014; and this one of course (213) 363-5118. All of those numbers have negative comments here on this website. Again, thanks to all of you. Next time, i will ignore the call when they call because I will get a BIG "Ignore Call" on my caller ID.

I have been recieving theses calls from LB Financial from number 213-363-5118with a recording "This is an offer for your credit account. Press 9 for a lower interest rate." I pressed it and was connected to a man who said, " Did you press 9 for lower rates". I said "No, I am requesting again you take me off your list to call", he hung up just like all the others before him.  It is liked they are trained to be rude and prey on [erople with enormous credit card debt.  We don't have any, so I keep wondering why they call.  You mau also get a a recording from the same number about debt collection?  Who knows how that scam works.  Bottom line is my attorney said to register on the National do not call ist, and within 30 days or so, the telemarketing should stop.  Here is the link

I've been getting calls from 213-363-5118 for MONTHS now.
Always the same speel, "Rachel from card holder services, ya da, ya da, ya da,...."  Caller ID states it;s "LB Financial".....
I've called the number back NUMEROUS times (in one day even) & pressed 1 to be put on the do not call list, the automated voice tells me it'll take a few weeks to process AND yet I STILL get these annoying calls!  
Granted they ALWAYS call during the work day, leaving a message on my recorder, while I'm away from home.....but STILL - VERY ANNOYING!

I've pressed 1 for the do not call list NUMEROUS times and STILL get calls.

I recvd a call a few minutes ago from "Account Services".  They also called yesterday using two different phone numbers, 603-214-3645 and 213-363-5118.  I had also recvd a call from them on Thursday of last week, from 402-982-0517.  This is a new phone for me, I had first activated it on Monday of last week, and have not yet given it out to anyone.  It is an AT&T phone, and the number may have been used by someone prior to me.
I signed up for the Do Not Call list last night, after the two calls.  I did get one call today, but I would think that it takes a few days to get through the system

They called everyday while at work. I finally answered this morning because I had the day off.
It was a recording which said, "This is an offer for your credit account. Press 9 for a lower interest rate." I pressed it and was connected to a man who said, " Did you press 1 for a lower rate". I said "Yes, who is this? Which account is this about"? He then says, "Do you have a Visa or Mastercard" and I said Yes, what is this about. He then says, "Do you owe at least $4000" I said, "No" and he hung up on me. This must be some sort of debt collection scam or maybe debt reduction.

How does this company get away with calling prepaid cell phones which are not listed??????????????????

I recieved a automated bunk insurance call; it sounded like a telemarketing ploy, so I waited on the line for a representative to tell them to take me off of their list. I was connected with a representative by the name of Chad, I courteously asked Chad to take me off of his list and he hung up on me. I called back - it was an automated "take me off of your call list prompt", but that was my only option. It is as if this bunk company knows that their representatives are rude, they are trying to take your money, so there is absolutely no way to contact them back. I looked up their company name on Google and all I got was an imigration dept. insurance type company. IT IS A SCAM!
