Yea I recieved call also and I kept calling him back!!! He told me that the detectives will be at my door in 30 minutes.. Lol. So I continued to call back he kept hanging up he finally asks what's wrong with you Lissa? I said take my name off your stupid a** list!!! He stayed ok no one will call again..

They called mu daughter n then they called her back n I act like her then they kept putting the phone down I let them know if u r the IRS I will be waiting for them n there a** two they called the wrong number

I had a suspicion it was a scam so, I called them back and asked for my refund.  He promptly hung up on me. I called back 8 more times just for fun.  They kept hanging up on me.  When he finally answered he nervously said, "I'm sorry ma'am I don't have your money" and hung up on me. HA! HA!  I called several more times just to aggravate them they kept hanging up on me.  During that time, two people answered me, but they both hung up when I asked for my refund. Ha! Ha! Ha!

ASK FOR YOUR REFUND (even if you don't have one coming) and see what happens!!! Funny!!! -- Turned my day from worry to laughter!!! HA! HA!  I'm still laughing.  I think I'll call them back and ask just for fun throughout my day. HA! HA! HA!

Received a phone call from this number. The caller left no message.

Received a 2nd call today from this number threatening to arrest me for tax evasion ~ called my local police department and they assured me it is a definite scam and do not give them any information just hang up

Phone call threatended legal action.

I got the same call as everybody else today. They had me scared and everything. Thank you google to help figure out this was a scam.

I received call this afternoon and returned the call tonight, can hardly wait for a return call tomorrow.

Caller left message saying that he calling on behalf of the Legal Affairs Dept. of the US Treasury Dept, that he was calling about a very important issue and that failure to call him back could result in enforcement action. Very strong accent. A second call was intercepted by my computer's Phone-Tray program "zap" message which I recorded saying that gov't dept's don't make such notifications by phone or email and the if this persisted, his number and a recording of his original call would be forwarded the the FBI and Treasury Dept.

I got this call with a threat to pay tax.

yep got a call today it was for my mom n law she works for a law firm and she knew right off it was a scam, bc when she started asking questions, they got "disconnected" this is not the us department of treasury bc they r located in Washington DC and this number is in California, that's the first red flag plus they said they have been sending certified letters and we have not received anything, so nice try

Also received about 3 or 4 calls and said they were with the Dept. of the treasury legal services and that they had a warrant for an arrest because of "tax issues". Told them that this sounded like a clear scam and the line went dead but they still called a few times after that.

This caller "Max Anderson" keeps calling my home phone asking for my husband in broken English saying an arrest warrant has been issued.  This is a scam~he wants credit card info. He uses a different name each time he calls with the same broken English voice.

Got a threatening call claiming arrest warrant had been issued relating to the IRS

Said he was from Department of Treasury, called himself Jimmy Jones threatened legal action if the call wasn't returned. Asked for a person who has been gone for over 7 years.

Received a call from 213-375-0953. The person with a thick accent said he was a paralegal with the Department of Legal Affairs for the US Treasury. Legal actions were started against me and a certified letter (that I never got a notice on) had been returned to them. I needed to call this number (which is the same number they called me on, go figure) and talk to a Steve Sebastien to get this taken care of.

I Googled the number and there are multiple reports of the scam using this number and other numbers.

They called back 3 hours later saying that we can not called them back yet.  My wife told them she was calling the FBI on them.

My wife received this call last night, and since I had some trouble with taxes a few years ago. So I called him back to figure out what it was. He started telling me that I owe taxes and what not so I asked for specifics, and he just repeated the whole script. So I asked for them to send me this in writing and then I heard a whisper saying "hang up" and he hung up. They called my wife again and she made up a story with the cops and they hung up. Obviously a scam.

I just got 2 threatening calls today from 213-375-0953. Obvious scam. Thank you all for posting.

I got a call from this number as well (213-375-0953) where he was claiming to be the U.S. Department of Treasury's Legal Department.   He managed to call me from my cell phone and got me to run to Wallmart and RiteAid and he wanted me to pay my debts through Green dot Money Pak.  He threatened me with getting arrested right now if I hang up due to tax filing mistake.  

I managed to dodge the scam because he didn't give me a chance to look at my mail to find any issues with the U.S. Department of Treasury's Legal Department, and wanted me to get Green dot Money Pak to pay him like right now.  Yeah, provide money to the government via Green dot Money Pak stuff vice issuing a check and see who cashed it.  This number who calls people is a swindler.

I received several calls from this number. Caller said he was from the U.S. Department of Treasury's Legal Department. Tried to use scare tactics to force me to give him my credit card information. He said "the police are on their way to your home and your job to arrest you". He stated that I would be going to jail for 6 months and THEN I could go court to fight the charges of tax evasion. I called my brother who is a lawyer, he advised me to call the IRS and the FBI, which I did. When I told the caller this, he said the warrant had been rescinded and that I could plead my case in court.

I Received a call from this number and they wanted me to wire money to them. Do you no who they are.
