Robot call.  Claimed to be Durant (? hard to hear) Business Funding.  Said I was pre-approved for a loan.  I'm on the federal do-not-call list, we can all pretend THAT's being enforced.

213-402-9000? It's a computer glitch! I work for Verizon in Northern California. It's being worked on. Do you really think any company would violate the federal Do Not Call list on purpose that many times? That would be some heavy fines. No way

Unfortunately, the do not call list doesnt cover business to business solicitation.
But i actually pretended to be interested and these guys are a genuine company.

2 calls from them back-to-back.  I changed my business line features recently and started getting several calls immediately from telemarketers.  I'm blaming ATT on this one.  My line is even registered with Do Not Call but it hasn't helped.  Why can't we sue these people for harrasment?

I receive calls at my business all the time from Direct Business Funding.  As mentioned above, it's all based on the individual merchants credit card sales receipts. It's all smoke and mirrors, because if you do the math it's about an 85%+ interest rate or finance charge and a never ending cycle of debt.  If you're a business and place your phone number in the National Do Not Call database, it does litte or no good. There are no regulations to stop business to business telemarketing.  I know, I tried.

Just called and listened to the offer of $250000.00 nice but I liked the offer of press 9 to be removed... waited about a minute and Frank answered the line asking what he could do for me. I said remove my number he said OK thanks good bye. Then I went to the donotcall.gov site and filled out the form 30 seconds later done! Don't trust anyone offering $$$...

Received a call from phone number 213-402-9000.  I am on a do not call list.  They have no business calling me.  I have also done a search on this number and found that there is also a posing on craigslist saying they do not do cold calling.  I believe this to be a very suspicious phone number and would not do any business with the person on the other end.  Be very careful!!

However, I cannot find them on google, cannot find them on bigyellow.com (yellow and white pages for phone listings), and when I called back, the guy I spoke to said he didn't have access to the calling list, nor was he capable of transferring me to someone who could...

A reverse search did say the number was this:

I received a call on my cell phone from this number.

Crashing economy and these guys come up with this:

They WILL ONLY give you a loan if you transfer your business merchant account (e.g. your credit card customers [read:  the income you generate SOLELY and INDEPENDENTLY of any other sources]) to them that has a two year history of AT LEAST 50K per MONTH.  THEN!, they will lend you 80% of that -- what a joke.

Just recieved a "robot call" here at work  AFTER I registered all of my lines for DNC.list Took suggestion of above poster and filed a complaint. Waiting to see if it shows up on my cell phone next (I registered those, too). We need to shut these annoying calls down (it's bad enough when it is a human!)

I receive 1 - 3 calls a week from this number. I answer nothing but silence.
What a waste of our time.

I work for Verizon in northern California the 213-402-9000 is a computer glitch. It's being worked on. They are not trying to violate the Do Not Call list. The fine is way too big. It's not on purpose

I receive these calls all the time at my business. This company offers loans against your Credit Card Sales Receipts. I answered when they called. I stated that I was not a business and that my cell number was on the national "do not call list". I was told "You don't know who your dealing with, you better watch yourself". When I asked for company information the caller hung up. I called back, and again asked for information as to the name of the company and company contact inforamtion. The person that answered the phone and refused to provide his name, hung up me.

I researched the call and spoke with a salesman who hung up on me when I began asking questions related to the nature of the call.  Here's the COMPANY INFORMATION -- where the call came from.

Call said they had reviewed my account and I was eligible for ...and I hung up. My number is on the do-not-call list.

Got a call checked the number here a file a complaint with the FCC

Got a call from them today..noticed it on caller ID.  Called back...heard music for about 2 seconds and someone answered.  I told them I did not want to recieve calls from them.  They asked me if our business needed any funds.  I told them to remove me from their list.

called today, they hung up when i started asking questions.  The person who listed their address above is correct.  Those wondering how to contact the FTC should go to www.donotcall.gov, however, they do not process complaints very well.  

The telephone consumer protection act gives you the right to sue for $500 per infraction.  To see what counts as an infraction, google "tcpa".  You can seek the funds through small claims, typically all the fees come to less than 20 dollars, and you get 500 dollars back.  Good deal.

shows as 'out of area' --confirmed the phone number with the website provided by Todd. They call here 2-3 times a day. We are also on the 'do not call list'. How to reach the FTC???

Please file a complaint and put them out of biz for good.
