213 is the country code for algeria.... this stuff is annoying

dont like #'s i don't know, calling my cell

i continually get phone calls from this number and other numbers listed below. they call from one # and then hang up and try all other numbers (back to back). within the last 2 minutes i have received 12 phone calls. this is complete harrasment and i hope we can identify the scam going on here.
they never speak when i answer the phone.
other numbers used: (213) 438-1300, 50245660098, (456) 600-98 and many unknown #s.
they called all day on Thansgiving and often times call at 4:00am. this is extremely frustrating and i can't seem to find any answers on how to make it stop.

So strange, I received a call from this number. I did not answer but I called back and could not get through, the answering machine said "call can not be completed as dialed", so then I Google the number and these weird forum discussions pop up. Who's number is this?

who ever this is... owes me 1.50 i know its not much but damn it all im in iraq and phone calls are expensive. they need to cut that s**t out

They have been calling me for several days.  I pick it up and say nothing and I can hear a baby crying in the back sometimes.  I also get the strange numbers.  I usually answer with "911-what is your emergency?" and they stop calling for a while.  I just now forwarded all calls to my cell phone back to the 213-438-1300 number so when they call now, they are going to get their own little loop!

I also got a call from this number on my cell phone, I picked up the phone and no one answered...I called the number back and got thrown into a loop with no way to get a human.

Lady speaking foreign language.  Phone company was supposed to block all international calls - guess it didn't work!

Got a call from 213-438-1300 at 10:00pm on a Friday night!!  I answered and no one spoke.  Rediculous! I called the number back and got thrown into a loop with no way to get a human.

i wiss this number would stop calling me! it has been accompanied by 536-296-07 number. wtf is that crap!?

Got 2 calls minutes apart on Friday (3/28) morning, but did not answer either time.

I am also getting calls from this # followed by a dozen or so consecutive calls from 503 790-40151.  My finger hurts from pushing the cutoff button on the side of my cell phone.  I wish there was a way to stop this

I do not answer unknown numbers, can tell you that these calls started Saturday the 23rd, April

I live in Uruguay. Yesterday I received a call from this number on my cell phone and did not answer. Later I received a call from 04 9041354, a guy asked me in Spanish by a certain Walter and then hung up.

I receive 6 callers in my phone, nobody talk. I call to callcenter but the number doesn't exist. What's hapen?

I have logged over 120 calls from this same group over the past 2 months.
they use multiple numbers, Texas, CA, and international. They calls in groups of 3 everytime. this is harrasment and i have logged many complaint calls. AT&T won't do anything about this.
not sure what this company does but i hope someone can help in getting to the bottom of this and stopping this harrassment.

cris7 is correct.  some calls from guatemala are entering the usa through this telephone exchange.  why, who knows?

same thing happend to me this evening. I know this explanation is correct, because my boyfriend lives in Guatemala and i Live in Arizona. The calls do get transfered and they can get lost. its nothing to worry about, just small "mess up's" In the communication.

If you think that there aren't talking Spanish they maybe talking a Indian language.

I got a call from 213-438-1300 12:51pm today. I couldn't answer in time so it went to my cell phone voicemail (left no message).
Then, at 12:53pm (2 minutes later) I received a call from "unknown". I answered the call. There was alot of background noise, like they were in a theater. The lady spoke a few words that were foreign or gibberish.
Then, at 1:33 pm (40 minutes late) I got a call from 50259928609 (that's 11 digits). There were people saying 'hello' sounding confused, They didn't seem to speak English and they didn't seem to hear me. I beleive the calls were related. I think some of this 'foreign exchange' equipment is malfunctioning.

This number callled 2134381300 and i did not pick and then strange calls came in it said that call was from L.A. Very Weird..

213 438 1300  noise in back ground like children

I have continuously been getting calls from 502-535-38537 every sunday night. i hear noise in the background and it sounds like young children. they call over and over!! now i am getting calls from 213-438-1300. WTF!!
why are they calling????????????

213 is the area code from L.A., but that only means, that the call from a central american caller is directed over L.A. into the US.
502 in another number is the country code from Guatemala.
How do I know that? I am getting the same calls in Florida from my wife who lives in Guatemala. So if nobody answers, that simply means that the connection was lost, is not good, or the calling card from the person in the other country is of bad quality.
So if you do not know anybody from Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, or El Salvador, then it is most likely a wrong number based upon the wrong input of numbers, which happens to anybody all over the world. And the language is usually spanish and has nothing to do with Korean or anything like that.

3:53 may 26 call fomr 536-296-07 again at 3:54, then a call from 213-438-1300, which i googled to be a company in LA, then the aforementioned number at 3:55....this is rediculous!

got a call from 213 438 1300...this is an exchange service for persons calling from Central America...callers may be using a calling card or going directly from their countries international erxchange into the 213 438 1300 block.
