The samething is happening to me they have been calling everyday. I was told I could get 3000 dollar loan and it would be on my debt card within 30 minutes, I just first had to go get a $150.00 green dot money vouncher with a 14 digit number, but they would not be taking the money from the vouncher that I just needed to show proof that I had the $150. So glad I didn't do it, just had a gut feeling something wasn't right but they are still come continuously calling, also they have my date of birth, debt card number and other personal information that I didn't give them, not sure what I should do. Do I need to call the better business bureau?

I wish that I had read this before I made the mistake of giving them a total of 550.00.  I spoke with alex as well who requested the 200.00 like others he told me that something was wrong with the system and for me to call back in 15 minutes.  I called back and that was when I got Gary who asked for an additional 350.  I should have stopped there but I am in a tight situation and needed the money.  So of course like an idiot I gave them 350.  While I was on the phone they asked me for an additional 400 because the 350 was for the identified number to collect the money and not for the taxes like Gary stated.  I spoke with Jasmine at this point and she apologize for the miss communication and reassured me that this has never happened to any one else but me and she was sorry that I was missed informed and for my trouble if I send the 400 dollars they would give me a loan of 3200.00 for the same repayment schedule the extra would be for my pain and suffering..  She told me that they were a great company who has lend numerous people money.  I so wish that I have read this before I sent the 200 and really before I sent the 350.  This company has taken away from my family.  They need to be stopped and they need to be stopped now,  I feel that all of us who has has a bad experience with them need to post what happened to them on facebook, twitter and other sites where your family and friends would be able to get the information they need so that they do not make the same mistake we did.  Ever if the authorities do not stop them god will they have mistreated the wrong person.  Please everyone do not respond to anyone who ask you for money in order to get a loan, it just not not work thaty way.

Glad I did my research! One should never have to send money to acquire money that's DUMB.I am sorry for all those that fell victim to this SCAM. They told me I was approved for a $2000 loan with payments of $150 a month for 15 months. The catch was to give $200 to Western Union and to stay on the phone while doing it and the money would be released I called them out on that BS! All of the stories are so similar that I took bits and pieces from each and that's how I came to my conclusion. I will not Go Thru with this loan.

This is the second time this organization has tried to loan me money.  It is time that the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center is notified.  I will do this.  The crooks and I mean CROOKS need to be stopped and punished.  Always ask for a telephone number and do a reverse look up of it.  Keep posting all negative reports against this company.  Ask to for the name of the company and physical location.  It is time that the FBI got involved to shut them down and proscute them to the max.

I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE GOING THRU. MY SISTER IN LAW WAS SCAMMED OUT OF 500.00 DOLLARS. THEY TOLD HER THEY NEED ANOTHER 300.00 FOR TAXES. THEY TELL HER SHE NEEDS TO GO TO WESTERN UNION AND WIRE THE MONEY. I GO WITH HER. FOUND OUT THE MONEY IS GOING TO A PERSON NOT A COMPANY. I TOLD HER NOT TO SEND ANY MORE MONEY. THEY REFUSE TO REFUND ANY MONEY .THAT SHE STILL OWES TAXES. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. I HOPE NO ONE ELSE GETS INVOLVED WITH THEIR LYING ,SCAMMING , AND FOREIGN AS*ES

Wow, I can't believe this I should have known better. I gave $250.00 spoke with William Metco who states is an agent and then a Brian who is a supervisior, Andrew and Alex as well who is a supervisior and also had me deposit money at the western union. They have you sending money to different places by Western Union.  I know for sure, one of them is India. The main person who claims to be the senior supervisor is a person by the name of Gary Smith. They asked for another $350.00 stating the first $200.00 sent was for processing the loan, states the remaining is for the taxes and fees that apply from the loan coming from out of state. They got $250 out of me, I needed the money very badly. A lesson to be learned and never do again. I am going to investigate the matter, something has to be done about it. I have all my recordings of them.

Even scam artists are outsourcing. On Tuesday in its first crackdown on fraudulent telemarketing in South Asia, the Federal Trade Commission announced that it was shutting down two California-based companies that used a call center in India to defraud Americans out of more than $5 million over the past two years.

Workers in India made threatening calls to Americans getting them to pay money on debts that they didn't owe, the FTC charges. At an FTC press conference in Chicago on Tuesday, fraud victim JanLaree DeJulius explained that she had received a call from someone claiming to be an enforcement officer from the (phony) "Federal Department of Crime and Prevention," who threatened to have her arrested and have her wages garnished if she didn't pay a bill of more than $730. The scam artists had gotten her name and information from a payday loan her ex-husband had taken out in her name.

"It was very embarrassing," Dejulius said. "He knew everything about me so I agreed to set up an installment." She is not alone. According to the FTC, more than 8 million calls were made since 2010 and at least 17,000 transactions processed across the United States related to the global scam.

On Tuesday under request from the FTC, a U.S. District Court in Chicago stopped the international operation, charging Varang K. Thaker and two companies he owned, American Credit Crunchers, LLC, and an affiliate Ebeeze, LLC, with violating the FTC Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

"This is a brazen operation based on pure fraud, and the FTC is committed to shutting it down," said David Vladeck, director of the FTC's consumer protection bureau. "Consumers should not be pressured into paying debt they don't remember owing. Legitimate debt collectors must provide consumers with both written information about the debt, and instructions for protecting themselves if they don't think they owe the debt."

According to the FTC's charges, Thaker used Social Security numbers and bank account numbers obtained from payday lenders to identify the victims for his scam. He outsourced the work to an Indian call center, where workers made threatening calls to American consumers to pay fake debt or collect on bills for which they were not authorized.

Thaker was not available when contacted by telephone on Tuesday. A woman who claimed to be Thaker's older sister and asked not to be named for privacy reasons said he is working with the FTC to help the Indian government pursue the fraudster call center operators. She also said he was innocent in the scam. "He was being used by somebody. He didn't even know where they got the information," she told The Huffington Post by phone. She said that her brother got 10 percent of the earnings from the scam operation.

The FTC charges against Thaker are the latest in a series of police actions by the government agency to put an end to rogue debt collection operations that have become more frequent in the aftermath of the Great Recession. In January, the FTC struck a $2.5-million settlement with debt-buying company Asset Acceptance, LLC, charging that the company had falsely represented itself to customers, including making up phantom debts that customers no longer owed. Last October, the FTC filed a complaint against seven other fraudulent debt collectors, alleging that they had engaged in the same techniques -- demanding money from customers who owed nothing at all.

The growing number of Americans who are unable to pay their bills has meant there are more companies looking to profit from their economic difficulties.

Debt collectors have been taking more aggressive tactics as fewer people are able to make ends meet or are in a cycle of debt. More than 30 million Americans are in debt collection, according to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Since 2010, more than 4,000 complaints have been filed with the FTC and state attorneys general about fraudulent debt collection calls, the FTC said.

Charles Junitkka, a personal bankruptcy attorney who represents clients in the New York City area, said, "In the last few years, the desperation of the collectors and their efforts have intensified because of the economy."

This story has been updated to reflect comment from a woman who says she is the sister of Varang Thaker. Thaker himself was unavailable for comment.

Message was preceded by a bunch of calls from changing caller ID's (spoofed). Eventually a message was left when caller ID came up unavailable, and told I was approved for $2,000 loan I had applied for on the internet, which I did not. They don't even know my name, and two different messages were left by individuals with such heavy foreign accents, I couldn't make out the website they said I had applied, and could barey make out the phone number they were asking me to call. Obvoiusly these people are in need of a reality check, and maybe a visit from some Federal people.

I had the same situation happen to me. They called us, and said he was from paydayloan.com which we applied. We applied for the loan 5 mins before we got the call so we was wow ok has to be real. They said 99 dollars first, ok we was on hold sorry another 150 payment ok damn we paid again has to be real. They even said hold on cause this is a recorded message, so i was like ok that isnt a scammer. We ended up sending in 450 dollars before we gave up. We currently have law inforcment looking into it.

The names we was told was Alex Parker, Kelly Jones, Linda, and a few others they kept calling us.

My husband keeps getting phone calls from  unknown but then I check details on cell phone this number comes up 975-911-4584 asking for me. and doe not want to talk with my husband  When I get on the phone he starts to ask me all kinds of questions such as do I own a car etc, so I say take my name off list.  About a hour later he calls back and says I have $1500 waiting  for me at Western Union all I have to pay is $99.00 first.  Gives me this number 213-457-3205 back ask for Gary Smith, when I call the number it says they are not available leave a message. Mind you I need money real bad and I know normally cash advance loans don't ask for a fee up front so I wanted to check this out.
