Steve:   "Shudup and get me someone with half a brain."

Me:      "Yeah, we really want to do business with you."

He hung up.

Don't give out any info about the company to anyone that could be a solicitor.  If in doubt, just refer them to Ralph in Purchasing and Marketing at (206) 726-3819.  That's a VM box that's set up to get rid of solicitors.  That's where we refer all these jerks.

This guys has seriously called me for years at my job and I always get the call! About three years ago he asked me something about a "meat rack" (???) and I have always reconized his voice. Always the same story prices went up, I forgot to ship out, or a great new deal since you were not inculded in the original sales flyer. He just called again today, I asked for his information and he hung up. He really annoys me.

Called on 2/15/07.  Talked to IT manager who recognized as a scam by the 3rd word and hung.   Gentleman called back and asked for my last name so that he could "ship this sh#$t out to" me.   Then called me a F word (the one used by Isaiah Washington) then hung up.

How do one stop these people and others like them?  Called me this morning way out in NC.

After I told him/her (tough to tell from the voice) that I wished to be removed from their call list the caller just kept talking.  I informed the caller I was hanging up & did.
Called RIGHT BACK to say they were calling from Xerox & what was my problem?
?I Beg Your Pardon? was my response (as Xerox has GREAT customer service & this wasn?t it) and asked to speak to caller?s supervisor ? said he/she WAS the supervisor. asked for the phone number to which caller replied ?isn?t it on your ID thingy??
I hung up & when I got the calling number & called them back, there is no ring when I dial. Dirty pieces of s**t aren?t smart enough to maintain a real job.

These bozos from 213-537-1981 have called my company on several occasions. These people are predators. Don't take crap from them! REPORT THEM TO THE LOS ANGELES CONSUMER AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT at (213)974-9673 and to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office (213) 974-3512 or email your complaint to webmail@da.lacounty.gov

Hopefully, we all will be watching these bozos on the 10 o'clock news being whisked to the Police Van in handcuffs.

They called and said that they were updating the manuals for our copier and they needed the make and model.  I told them that if they were our vendor then they would know that information.  She then said that they needed my last name because they were cancelling our service. I asked her why she needed a last name to cancel service?  She said she needed my last name because there was a fee to cancel the service.  I told her no.  Then she got really rude so I said "well hold on and I will transfer you to our Controller" she then hung up.

Called at 10:50am.  Identified himself as Mike calling about the Lanier copy machine (did not identify his company), and he was calling because the cartridge price was going up.  He then asked who orders the supplies. I told him I didn't need any, then he said "I didn't ask you that, I asked who orders the supplies. Why are you being rude?" To which I replied "The person who orders the supplies is ME." Then I hung up on him.  His number is 213-537-1981.

THIS SAME GUY JUST CALLED ME ASKED ABOUT OUR COPIER MODEL # I ASKED HIM WHO HE IS WITH HE ASKED AGAIN ABOUT OUR MODEL # I ASKED AGAIN WHO ARE YOU WITH HE SAID " YOU SURE ARE ASKING SOME STUPID QUESTIONS " I SAID EXSCUSE ME AND HE REPEATED SO THEN I SAID I TELL U WHAT IVE GOT A REAL STUPID QUESTION AND I WANT U TO LISTEN REAL GOOD OK LISTEN REEL GOOD ARE U LISTENING CLOSELY HE SAID YES AND I SLAMMED THE PHONE IN HIS EAR

THEN HE CALLED BACK AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO JOEY (ME) TOLD MY CO-WORKER YOU KNOW THE GAY GUY THERE THIS IS HIS BOYFRIEND JOHN BUT OFF COURSE HE HUNG UP BEFORE I COULD GET TO THE LINE

This person said they were with Xerox and wanted me to go and get model #.  I told him I would have to call him back.

This guy said he was calling about our copier "warranty." I said listen, we don't have a warranty so whatever you are selling I don't want. He said "I am not selling anything so there is no need to be stupid and uppity." I said did you seriously just call me stupid? And he said "yes I called you stupid you f*cking B*tch and I'm going to come slap you silly." Then I told him he could come anytime, and he proceeded to go off for @ 60 seconds calling me names and swearing. When a man in my office took the phone he hung up. Then he called back and another woman in my office answered and he said our address and she said "Yes..." and he said "I'll be there in an hour."
I keep trying to call him back.. glutten, maybe?

This man apparently called yesterday and asked for the manager and was given my name. So he called today and said he was with the company that handles our contracts for our copiers. He said his name was James with Sharp and worked with our company, but I told him we have a contract for toner so we don't pay for it individually. He said he wanted to talk to the manager and I said I was the manager. He then said.'Then start acting like it and stop giving me such a !@# hart time.' People like this are very difficult to recognize as being a scam until foul language spurts form their mouth. Can he be reported and arrested for this?

We have filed a police report against this guy for repetitive and harassing calls - sure hope they do something.

he called four times and asked me to be quiet!!!! hah!

rude man asked for Michelle a former employee, then said he needed to talk to someone about the toshiba asking would 1 toner be enough, i told him we did not order any toner and he said ok i'll send you the 1 then and hung up. very rude and uncalled for!!!!!

Some guy called my office from this number saying he was from Canon. I had previous experience with these people sending printer cartridges that we did not order because they got our copier model number. The guy said he was updating their files and asked for our model number. I told him that I could not give that information over the phone. He asked who he should talk to, I told him the owner. He then said, "well that's what you should have said in the first place instead of the spheel you just gave me, get it together YOU BI***." He then cowardly hung up on me....

My story pretty much is the same as everyone else's.  A very rude guy demanding to speak to the person that orders the toner, you ask him a question and his retort is nasty.  Asked me if I was stupid or just not listening and to put the girl that orders the savin supplies on the phone.  I laughed at him and said you must be stupid, I AM the girl that orders the supplies, he hung up.  We get these phone calls quite often, sometimes a few a day.  There HAS to be a way to report these people! Especially when they are using such foul language etc!

I love these kinds of calls! I jerk them around with appearing to be so happy they called because we are down to our last toner. I waste his time by  asking what the price is, then I tell him to hold on while I travel down 4 floors to get to the main copier to obtain the model number. This time, I told him to hold on. I then put the phone down and walked away. Came back 10 minutes later and he was still holding. Then I played some music for him - remember, it's his dime he's wasting. He hung up after 15 minutes. He called back for me (which I have him a false name to begin)  but this time, I answered the call using an accent, which made him studder and he just hung up. So funny!

These guys are crazy.  After his bogus copier number question I told him to bite me and hung up.  Another guy (David) called back SCREAMING obscenities as I hung up again.  Called again 3 more times.  I just picked up and hung up those times.  From the other comments above, I'm assuming the co. doesn't care what these guys say on the phone.

Awww, these guys are fun to mess with if you have the time.  I usually just tell them "ok" and put them on hold.  When they call back I say, "ok" and put them on hold.  They usually don't call back a 3rd time.  

But my best was when I strung a guy along for about 30 minutes.  Once I answered and heard "I'm with the copier." I developed a speech impediment that made me stutter and talk real slow.  He finally "convinced" me to check the model of the laser printer.  After leaving him on hold for about a minute I told him he'd have call another day because a rat bit my finger when I moved some boxes to look at the printer.  I needed to go to the doctor!   He called the next day to check on me AND GET THAT MODEL #!  I told him I wasn't going in that room until they killed the all rats.  

Heh heh.  I crack myself up sometimes.

They are a very rude company who is trying to sell printer supplies, they lie and tell you that your cartridge is on its way and if tell them you did not order they call you names.

This guy called into our support queue asking for the "3 digit code" on the front of our printer.  Our agent contacted IT with his name and company (which was probably fake and a company I've never heard of or dealt with).  We then told her that he wasn't someone we've ever heard of so we didn't want to talk to him.  2 minutes later he called back in and talked to our receptionist.  Again, she contacted IT.  When we asked her to get his name and company name she switched back over and asked.  He then said "you need to know what company I'm with?" and hung up on her.

I immediately blocked his number from contacting our organization.

Beware these people are ink scammer and they will send you toner at a high price.

Caller asked for copier model number. As soon as I asked if they were from Toshiba caller hungup.Don't give info to anyone your not sure of!

Scam trying to charge me for cartidge I didn't order and said they have a invoice to prove it Asked them to fax it to me

This guy  called and said he had 3 toners for us frm last week and asked where to ship I said we buy local he said He was local and I said If you are local then why are you a 800 number It totally threw him off and he hung up his number is 213-537-1981 and goes by the supposely name of "David"

This person called as if he worked on our copier..I told him we didn't need anything from him, and hung up on him.  He called back, and said, "Me...are you wearing panties today?"  I hung up.

There must be something that can be done to stop this type of telemarketing...
