All the numbers called from Los Angeles are stupid and stop calling/texting people for telemarketer or some other reason. I hated it whoever you are need to stop right now and leave all the married men alone bi***.

Something to keep in mind about all these continuing bothersome calls for surveys, so called charities and so called charity pickups despite asking them to remove you from their list:

Call centers have sprung up in my town that make use of the survey and the charity loophole around the do not call list; they have been a headache for law enforcement, emergency services, neighboring businesses and residential areas.  When I ask any patrolling officer in town about these call centers, they are quick to state their frustrations about the criminal activity that some of these call centers have brought into the area. Several law enforcement agencies regularly visit some of these call centers looking for warrant arrests etc.  I have heard from sources including from frustrated employees that work for these call centers complaining about the drug activity, vandalism of cars and neighboring businesses, break-ins and theft, drinking while on the job, smoke breaks are actually marijuana breaks, drunk driving, very dangerous driving, tons of tossed out litter of empty liquor containers, trash, food etc.  I?ve even heard that the mangers are also involved in criminal activities and have even preyed on their legitimate employees who are simply trying to eek out a living on horrible wages.  Also the operators are untrained in a very high turn around, poorly managed and dysfunctional work environment.

Also realize this when you call a companies? customer service line and get horrible service from the call center that?s been hired by the company.  One time while on a call with our bank?s customer service, the operator was so loopy that it required ending the call and calling again to try and get someone else to help, think about that when you call a companies? customer service and the conversation gets odd, off the wall and obtuse ? you may be talking to an operator that?s drunk or on something.  After 6 months of getting a different and wrong answer to our ongoing problem each time we called our bank?s call center, we gave up and closed the account.

With so little police left in our town due to cutbacks, they can?t always respond to vandalism and break-ins when it?s witnessed as they have their plate full responding to the major emergencies, this allows the criminal activity free reign, the neighborhood becomes the hood.  Some insurance companies require proof of private security patrols before they will honor a claim due to vandalism or theft leaving the neighboring businesses off guard and uncovered.  These businesses also have the added cost to hire private security, install security systems/monitoring, upgrade lighting etc.  Then there are the dangers and headaches to the nearby businesses employees such as their cars being vandalized or broken into.  Some businesses simply give in, pickup and move out of town.

One of my neighbors owns a call center and he requires that his operators are bonded, but I guess there?s no laws requiring this ? there should be.  Right now in my town it seems like anybody can start up a call center and hire questionable labor for cheap without much regulation.

I my efforts the past several years to try and get something done, I am most struck by the fact that there?s no real help, everyone is more worried about being sued than dealing with the obvious problem - you are on your own....

This call came in on Feb 13th, while we were on vacation.  No message left but that's OK.  They wasted their time and money!

But you also wasted 20 minutes of YOUR time/LIFE.  Life is TOO PRECIOUS to do that!

Better to spend that 20 minutes reporting these numbers to the government DoNotCall List; it does seem to help a bit; after so many complaints I tend to get 'breaks' from these calls for a week or two at a time.

This following phone number keeps calling me and I have asked them not to: 213-550-3070. How can I stop this? They call all the time and ask for someone that I have never heard of. Also, I have had my phone number for 15 years so this is just harassment while trying to sell me something! At least as far as I'm concerned it is!

213 550 3070 is calling me continually, I am on the Do Not Call List, and they are looking for a person I do not know, I have told them this repeatedly, and they are ignorant and act like I am lying about who I am, after 30 minutes of arguing I am not this person, asking for a supervisor and being hung up on, they said they took me off the list.  Well I have received two more calls.  I do not like this company,.

Received a call from this number.  Not sure, but a voice mail appeared just after this number called, it was only a part of a message.  Something about call now and your rates can be lowered.  Obviously a scam.

Just curious how many of you cellular "victims" have AT&T? The reason I ask is because I called AT&T to find out how to block these calls and low & behold they sell a feature for $4.99 per month that will do it! (I have a dumbphone. Smartphone users generally have a built-in feature or can download a free app to block unwanted calls - per Smartphone users I've spoken with.)  I'm beginning to think that they are selling our numbers so we'll buy their app. Legal scam artists all working together???!!!!

Got two of these calls today while I was at work. I have currently blocked them from my phone so I am hoping I won't have to deal with them anymore, but I know how they work - they call using various numbers so you have to keep on blocking them.  It is annoying and there does not seem to be an end to this.

Showed up as "unknown caller" on my caller ID, so I didn't answer.  A legitimate business or organization wouldn't hide their identity.  Cowards!

Alleged political survey scam to get CC numbers.  Called my cel phone!

called my cell phone left no messge. Third call in a week.

This was the same call that I got 2 days ago from the number 843-619-3526.  It's a recorded message from John for a 30 second political survey which will result in you getting a free cruise (only have to pay some fees).  But no matter what I pressed, "1" to take the survey (wanted to see what they said and yell at them to stop calling me) or "9" to decline and be removed from their list, the recording just kept repeating.  Finally I just hung up.

I see this is a call from cruise line scammers.  They call just about every evening.

This number keeps calling both mine and my husbands cell phone but we don't answer.  We've registered with the do not call list.gov!! Not surprised if this is political or if gov sold our numbers!!!

The number is spoofed so filing a complaint with the DNC won't do any good. All these clowns want is your credit card number so they can steel it.  If you don't know the number, don't pick up because all it does is let these scammers know that they have reached a working number.

if you have a moment, sound really interested, tell them to hold while you ask your wife/hubby, and leave them there.
