Piece of garbage shuold get a life and stop calling people on the DO NOT CALL LIST

Answered the phone and nothing but silence.  Caller ID states "Alliance Comm T".

No message, called back and recording says number is not in service.

Calls at least twice a week, no message and can't call back.

they have called me from this number twice and nothing is there.

I too received a call from this number. I'm not really sure what time they called me, luckily my phone was on silent. I am stationed over in Japan and they called my broadband Vonage phone which is a WV number. I have no idea how in the heck they got that number. I was just trying to figure out who in the heck this was that was calling me.

Does anyone have connections to the latino underground, possibly through a friend or relative?  Someone who uses pay per minute phones and switches them regularly?  

A friend of mine what recently a victim of gang violence and his "friends" have my number.  When I asked a couple of detailed questions - the leader of the pack started calling me through a latino woman who called me from a 'restricted' number.  Then I started getting death threats in the middle of the night, again from a 'restricted' number.  

It's been a few months and now these calls are starting, along with 702-444-4939??  Both numbers started after the leader tried to contact me again - I didn't answer his call either because, to me, it's too late for words or actions.  

I looked both numbers up and they appear to be landlines, one in Las Vegas, NV and the other in Los Angeles, CA - both areas with a high latino population and gang related problems.

I am in Maryland and have Verizon service.

I was previously receiving calls from 702-444-4939 that appears to be a pay phone or calling card exchange number for Verizon - same deal; only the complaints are much worse for that number.  

Today, I received a call from 213-596-1001, it rang a half of a ring, then rang back immediately as unavailable?  No message.

I did a house goods survey at my previous employers (via cold call) and received a vacation package in exchange.  Even after I signed up for the vacation package (because they always cost you something), they have continued to call me several times a day, stating that it takes 30 days to remove a number from their listings.  Is it possible they sold my number to another harrassment agency??

I have not given my number out anywhere else, nor have I shopped on-line. I too am registered on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

I'm in Annapolis, MD, and just got this number on my AT&T cell.

Has called an average of 5 times a week for the past 3 weeks. Something's up here, because 3 other numbers listed on the web as Annoyance Calls started at the same time, and I started getting a lot of 'Private' IDs, also. Don't owe anybody anything, so it's not that. Mystery to me.

Asked for Trina. I explained that this was not her phone.  They keep on calling.

This number called my AT&T cell phone and did not leave a message.  I was at work so I did not answer.  Tried to call back and got a message saying that the number was not in service.  I have registered recently for the "Do Not Call" list, so hopefully these calls will stop soon.

Just had the number come through on our Cingular cell in the L.A. area. Did not pick up. Just adding a note for charting.

My guess, if you pick up, it triggers to someone it is a live number, then they will call you with spam, or collections etc.

I got called from this # yesterday, but I don't answer unknown numbers so I googled the number to find out who it could and found this blog - that is so weird.

Keep receiving calls from this Number I do not have that in my directory so I usualy pick up the call.
I have dialed the # and the operator tells me that the # is not in service?

I am in SF as well and just got a call from this number and immediately checked online to see what others were saying...I am on the Do Not Call list, but that might not mean anything. Also, I recently submitted my number as part of applying for market research studies I found on Craigslist - is that a connection for anyone else?

I am from Sfo and was travelling here in LA for the week.  I just got a call from this number (213) 596-1001 at 8:12am today, Tuesday, August 29, 2007.  Since I do not recognize the caller, I did not pick up.  I tried calling back the number but I was told by the recording that this number is not a working number.

this number just appeared on my cell phone - and they proceed to call 4 more times- because I am at work -- I don't answer phone or from numbers that I don't know.  Thanks for the helpful information about this number

Has called around 3-4 times...started Jul 7, '07 Same as above...no answer & call i.d. "ALLIANCE COMM T".  Called their phone #...got a recorded message (as from the phone company) saying "....The # you have reached is NOT IN SERVICE at this time..This is a recording."!!  Now that's STRANGE!! Results from further searching: It is a LANDLINE, the PROVIDER is Broadwing Communications LLC and LOCATED in Los Angeles.  You can probably BLOCK the number if you have AT&T's "CALL SCREENING SERVICE" which will let you block 10 phone numbers.  You can even block the LAST party that called you without knowing THEIR PHONE NUMBER, and providing nobody else calls you before blocking the "unknown".  It blocks 800 numbers too, doing the 'last number' that called you thingy.  AT&T also has "PRIVACY MANAGER" which prescreens callers trying block their call.  BEFORE YOUR PHONE RINGS: The caller is automatically told you don't accept BLOCKED CALLS, that the caller may redial unblocking their number (*82)OR say their name.  If they announce their name(they only have time for a name, not time to leave any long message), your phone rings & a auto message from Privacy Manager (displayed on your caller i.d. with a phone number that doesn't mean anything or callable from AT&T)then gives YOU  4 options such as: HEAR THE PERSON CALLING YOU, IGNORE THE CALL, STATE YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO TAKE THE CALL,  ... AND THE ONE I LOVE THE MOST>>>>> "INFORM THE CALLER YOU DO NOT ACCEPT TELEMARKETING CALLS AND TO PUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER ON THEIR DO NOT CALL LIST!"  This last one really pisses some of the annoying callers off, especially if they know of you somehow and are trying to collect a debt.  All you have to do is press which choice (number 1-4).  If you selected #1 and listen to the caller's name, you can be connected if you want to talk to them, or just hang up if you don't.  Some annoying jerks calling even hang up during the process cause they couldn't get through to you directly....The system IS cool.

2 calls in a row. no messages left , nothing. If i pick up they hang up.
There must be a way to block thses morons from calling.

This # called my phone twice but because I screen my calls he didn't get me on but I have read where the person at that number has been bugging aothers.

A***ole did not speak a word... just hangs up after a few seconds causing me to use 1 whole minute on my cell phone. WTF!
