this "person/recording" called every single one of our business lines in just under 2 min.  we have 5 phone lines just in the office area.  every phone started ringing at the same time and everyone said it was the same recording.  I've heard if you hit the # key a bunch when you get a telemarketer call it's supposed to knock your number out of their system.  not sure if that worked, but it stopped the recording right away and disconnected the call.  so we'll see!

same thing happened in our office.  We've instructed all of our people to place themselves on the DNC (do not call) site, maybe it will keep these things from happening in the future.

Yep, got same call here at our office, a Federal agency.  20 phone lines.  NOW maybe we'll get some action <evil grin>

Just got a call on my cell phone from 213-702-0240. The call is coming from Los Angeles, CA. No voice mail was left.

Called the number and got a recorded message. "Hello this is Bill."

Received call. Left a voice mail saying nothing.

Keep getting calls from this number all the time but I keep missing them. When I call back it says its not an excisting number?!

I work at state/government agency and our switchboard was just flooded with calls. Not quite a denial of service but close and a major waste of resources in terms of sytem and staff.

Ok?so from the 'net I learned it?s a problem at other places and traces back to a telemarketer: Wildgate of Carson, California.

I called Wildgate.com @ 310 861-6100
They have verified that they do have a customer using the number in question (213-702-0240).

Without providing a name Wildgate provides me what what they said was the phone number of the customer that is using 213-702-0204.  According to Wildgate their customers number is: (205)447-4950.

I called and left a message (205)447-4950. I had the number paged: I am not holding my breath. This number traces out to a T-Mobile phone (number indicates that the number uses T-Mobile voice mail).

So I call T-Mobile. I enter the number (205)447-4950 in the menu and it takes me to a point where I must enter the owners social security number. Now I ask for a T-Mobile rep. My T-Mobile rep tells me that they cannot by law go any further and the matter needs to be referred to local law enforcement as a matter of harassment.

These calls are coming into a medical facility causing delays in addressing medical emergencies.  I've called the number back several times asking them to stop the calls, but they continue and I have not received a return call from my messages to him.

got the exact same call as Zip Code 35209 did 8 months ago. I just got this number 4 days ago and this was my first incoming call.  I missed it, but the voicemail was from Bill wanting to fix my roof and he'd call me back after he finished up his other call.
Nobody cares about call lists, there are no lists - computers just dial numbers.

Got a call from this number and its a scam. do not push 9 it transfers your phone to them. and they are able to use your number in anyway they can. 205 area

I get frequent calls from this number about my car insurance. Don't drive anymore and haven't for years for health reasons. I'm also on the do not call list but that doesn't seem to matter does it? They seem to be targeting 35--- area codes.

Same as everyone above. The whole leaky roof thing. I have been on the national do not call list for four years and still got called. I made a complaint at the website. Enough people do it then the govenment will do something. Best thing the government ever dod was make this law.

Received a call on my cell (!) from Bill about possible water spots on my ceiling.  Hung up ASAP to avoid minutes charged to my phone.  Extremely annoying.

Got a call from this number, no mesasge left, so i called the number back and got a recording saying the following:
