Got call from number and Caller ID has it as Private Office.  Did not leave message.

A potential revenge tactic in regard to the call from my last post:

I am looking into software that will generate a self-replicating email to a specific address.  If I can obtain an email address(s) for this "company", I will post both the software title and the email addys to the web, and see if they like a bit of their own medicine....I wonder if I could get fone software for the same type of retaliation....

This number keeps calling & calling & calling & etc...
So today, and as of late with all unsolicited calls, I picked up the phone and just listened (I don't even say hello cuz its MY PHONE)

the message is pretty much the following (I copied from another scam alert site):

WE'VE BEEN TRYING TO REACH YOU
RE: IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY to work as
Government Insurance Refund Processor

* Starting at up to $37,532 per year DOE
* Work from home / Fleixble hours / No weekends
* Processing Government Insurance Refunds to homeowners
* Duties include: Receiving, Screening, and Processing FHA refund notices
* No experience necessary

After the message there is a prompt to select:
1) to enroll in the program and undoubtedly lose the $69 "Guaranteed" start-up/training package fee
2) to have my phone number removed from the calling list
9) for more information

I pressed "9" in hopes of finding out who the hell was calling via "more information".  That didn't work out as planned; just a more detailed version of the original message.  The next and only prompt was "1", so I pressed it.  A man answered and identified himself as operator 222 Jesse, and he asked for my first name, which I gave. I told operator 222 Jesse, that I would need actual "paper" documentation with regard to the offer and the company.  The line went dead, and the next thing I got was...If you would like to make a call....  I can't imagine why a company that is making an allegedly legit offer, would not want to provide hard copy info or at the very least, a web site so that research into said program could be made.

What a morons!

Call came in on one of our business's 800 numbers (the one most telemarketer calls come in).  A recorded message said they were trying to get a hold of "me" to tell me about an immediate opportunity for a job with the government insurance refund process.

The last call I received from them was on 10/20/08 from 603-321-3521.

They call constantly. The recording on the phone says that if you want off of the list to press two (2). I have pressed two (2) every time and it does no good. They still call back and there is no way to get a hold of anyone to tell them to stop. So I reported the number to ICC and Fcc. If that does not work then I will try something else. I could simply block the number but that would not get them to stop bugging all of the others that I am sure they are bothering.
