Dish satellite recorded message.  I contacted Dish and was told it would stop but it has not.  Comes in many different phone numbers.

My daughter keeps getting calls on her cell from the number.  When I told them this was harrasment since I had told them to stop calling before, they hung up on me.

They claim they're Dish Network.  Identified as Freesat on caller ID.

This company calls me EVERY DAY on my cell phone! They will not stop!

I just got a call in from this number on my very private (or so I thought) CELL PHONE NUMBER! Who sold out to give these numbers to computer soliciting companies is what I WANT to know? I entered my phone number many times because it kept saying "invalid entry try again" until 4 tries IT HANGS UP ON YOU, you never get a chance to be taken off the list! I am calling those consumer protection people tomorrow after reading all these I'm pissed off too!

Telemarketers have gone digital folks. Computers do all of the dialing now, and anytime you answer and don't hear anything, your number is being pulled into a file for actual people to call you back. Computers do the dirty work, (finding people who answer) so that actual people have information on numbers that are actually answered, saves tons of money & time. I've been through the ringer with these idiots because they keep calling my handicapped mother. Our Attny. General's office gave me some excellent information about how these people operate, and the #1 way to keep from getting these kinds of calls is not to answer calls when you don't recognize the number. Let them leave a message, and don't bother calling back. No response, nobody tries to talk you into anything. There is no way to prevent receiving these calls anyway. The do not call registery applies to live PEOPLE, not computers. That's another handy little tip from the AG. Computers are set to dial a certain amount of numbers in a certain amount of time. They are programmed to seperate answered calls from answering machine calls and from no answers, etc. No live person violated your right to privacy, hence nothing can be done legally. What really sucks is that everytime you answer and hear nothing, your number is going into a huge data base that more than one person has access to. That's how you get multiple people calling back with the same talk sheet in front of them. It really should be illegal for anyone to call you for the purpose of selling anything.

Says they're from the 'satellite company' in a recorded message. There's no option except to choose '1' to talk to a representative. I spoke to someone and told them to stop calling my number; they just hung up on me.

LET'S CALL THEM AND THESE TELEMARKETER'S AND LET THEM KNOW THAT THEIR CALL'S ARE UNWANTED AND THAT IF THEY KEEP CALLING, WE'LL TURN THEM IN TO THE BBB, THE FTC, STATES ATTORNEY GENEERAL AND THE UNITED STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL.

MY CELL PHONE RANG THIS MOURNING AT 10:29 A.M.-04-28-2008- WHILE I WAS IN TOWN. I DID NOT ANSWER THE CALL AND THE CALLER LEFT NO VOICE MESSEGE. I DID A REVERSE PHONE CHECK AND FOUND OUT THAT THE CALL ORIGINATED FROM COMPTON, CALIFORNIA. THE SERVICE PROVIDER IS DIGITCOM SERVICES IN CALIFORNIA. THEIR ADDRESS FOR DIGITCOM SERVICES IS: 12923 VENICE BLVD. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. THE PHONE SERVICE THEY PROVIDED TO PHONE NUMBER 213-710-8162 IS DARNED TELEMARKETER'S.

Just got this call and was automated asking to get a free satellite.
Just going to report them to www.donotcall.gov Sick and tired of this. been on the do not call list for 4 years and renewed again to cover myself and these jerks still call!!

Sounds like the same ol' call center got a new dress...calling all her old friends to see if they still answer their phone.

If you call back and get to the recording, don't waste your time.
It makes no difference if you enter your number to be removed or not from my experience.  They call regardless. There's been a few numbers calling us that use the same automated "removal/now we know you're a real person" service - same guy's voice even.

Guess I get to find out Monday what they're "selling" this time, oh joy!

I also got the call missed it but when i called back the recorder said it was a special offer we know how that goes!

I do not answer unknown numbers either.  Suspect telemarketer now with the interest rate supposedly going down....
