I received a call from someone who several weeks ago asked questions re a security system, I think. I was asleep when they called. Today, I received a call stating that I had won a free GE Wireless Security System. Again, I was awakened from a sound sleep. I actually made an appointment for tomorrow, which I regret. I hope I can cancell the appointment because we did have a security system that we can hook up. There is also a visible alarm above the garage door. I think it is time to reinstall the system we had.
I don't have caller ID so I don't know the number. The caller, a lady, gave me her number, 203-383-3736. I wonder if it really was her number.

I got 4 calls from this number today with a "message" inadvertently left after the last one. The message consisted of "Hi, is <first name> available?... Hello?". My ridiculously short OGM must have fooled the war-dialing robot. Scary thing, I only got this phone number on Friday and the OGM has only the family name. Yet she/it knew my first name. :-/

These guys are pulling a pretty scary scam. They are calling to let people know that GE is providing free wireless alarm systems to qualified residents. They are trying to get a lot of personal information and specifically find out if you have a home alarm system. I suspect there will be an increase in home break-ins this year. Be careful and warn everyone you know about this!

Way too many calls lately from this #. when Ive answered the call, they hang up. When I let it go to voicemail there's a busy signal. When I call the # it says I can't complete the # as dialed. I'm thinking of filing a harrassment complaint. They call way too often..

same, getting many calls from the same number no message. everyone is out for our hard earned money including the fed gov. they should be doing something to get rid of these sorry scum suckers. but hey everyone needs a job, right.... lol
