I got this call from a lady around4:23 this 12/30/09 about charging my debit card on order I made. Please stop these people.

called to say i had placed an order, which i had not, someone had tried to fraudulently use my card and it was stopped and declined, they asked for another credit card number to complete the transaction - they said they were from call of nature and were seeking a $5.95 trial fee.

I received a call from Wells Fargo yesterday asking that I verify charges to my account.  She read the last 3 charges and none of them had been made by me.  They cancelled that credit card account.  A day later I received a call from someone at 213-725-5234.  Their voice mail asked that I call back to verify that I had placed an order.  I won't be calling back.  I'm guessing they are just phishing for more info, a new credit card number, personal info, etc., and if someone placed an order with this company the company will be notified by my credit card company that it was fraudalent.

I got the exact same phone call from "sarah" about an acai berry blast order "I had made". The charge was denied by my card company (right...'cause I didn't order anything!) and did I have another card. I told her I did not place that order...she read off my address and asked if that was correct....I told her yes it was, then asked her again who she was and from what company. She politely answered and said she would cancel the order. My question is...did I screw up by verifying my address? I gave her NO other information.

I don't know what the name of the "company" that called me a 7:30 this morning is called - the woman on my voicemail rattled off the name and number too quickly.  All I caught was her name was "Sherry" and my "I.D. number" after she said my order that I'd made online came back declined.  You know why it was declined, sweetie?  I canceled my **** card after I realized you'd been making charges without my authorization for the past two months and had stolen nearly $300 from me!

Confirming order that I didn't make.  I called back and they courteously cancelled the order.

I caught a transaction on my account last week for a pre-authorization for APL*ITUNES. I immediately called and canceled my card, as I had not made the purchase. Upon doing research I found that there is a scam out there (http://consumerist.com/2009/05/watch-out-for- ... unt-or-not.html)  that has been ongoing for more than a year.

Today, I received a call from 213-725-5234 that I picked up from voice mail. The message stated she was Sara with acaiberryblast.com call back number 819-483-0467.  She stated I had put in an order and the charge was declined. (No, I did not order it)  The interesting fact to me, is that not only had they used my credit card, they used my cell number (which btw is NOT the phone number attached to my credit card)

PLEASE, keep an eye on your debit /credit cards & Bank accounts. It's amazing what people will try!  Now, if only we can find a way to stop them!  I was lucky, I check my account daily. Catching the first charge in pre-auth, allowed me to cancel the card before any of the other charges made it to my account.
