I get an average of 4 calls per day from this number, tried to call it back, unable to connect.  Answered once and they asked for someone elses name...I asked them to remove my number from thewir list, hasnt happened yet.  They have even called my cell phone.  I have reported them repeatedly and it does no good.

The calls are not from Harris Marketing. This phone number is a California number, but is associated with a fictitious business located in Wyoming that is the registrant for phishing websites that utilize public record data.

I called it back and a recording said: Harris Direct [Telemarketing] - we called you earlier on behalf of an [un-named] non-profit

So I clicked on the GOOGLE VOICE option "block this number for calling again."

Who is it?

I've received as many as a dozen calls a day from this number.  No message is ever left on my machine, but caller ID records every time they call.

I got 14 calls from this number today. I was not home and they left no message. I don't care who they are but if they call me one more time I blowing a whistle in the phone.

Please stop these calls!!!

Thanks, I went to their website http://www.harrismarketing.com/ and saw what they do and viewed their client list which includes...Democratic Party, Sierra Club, World Wildlife Fund, Planned Parenthood. Even though I have supported these orgs, I am still not interested in the phone call whatever it is. Wish it would stop.

Harris Direct huh? So that's who is calling, but like all the others, I don't answer and they never leave a message. Getting very weary as its been going on for some time, at all hours of the day. Is there a way to block calls from this number?

Received several calls a day from this number. They never leave a message.

We keep getting calls from this number, in the morning and then thru the afternoon, into the evening.  They have just called us twice within the half hour.  Will not answer phone, but this just has to stop!

I called, got a message from Harris Direct, claiming they called me on behalf of a charity I support.  This means they are not subject to the Do Not Call List.

They offered to take my name off their list if I left their number, claiming mine did not show up on their caller ID. I'll see if it works.

get it daily but never answer.  at least the number shows on my phone.

It's a tele-marketing firm called Harris Direct allegedly calling on behalf of a charity but they do not indicate which.  They call several times a day, never leave a message and when you call them back you get a recording saying your caller ID erroneously recorded their number instead of the charity they were calling for.

get repeated calls on a weekly basis, but no messages on  the answering machine.  Doubt it is Doctors Without Borders as I get a direct  request from them.

I'm getting call after call after call from this number, very annoying.  They're getting blocked!

I have recieved several calls from this number of the last couple weeks.  I don't pick up.  

Best practice is NEVER give information to someone that calls you.  Too many shady people out there.

Asked for my husband, told them he is not home. They immediately hung up. I guess they didn't
want to talk to me. Very irritating!!!

It's probably NOT Doctors Without Borders.  It's a scan trying to intercept money that you might donate (or just find out if you have a live phone number that they can sell).  I get similar calls almost every day from "Nature Conservancy" too.  These people are posing as charities that you may have donated to in the past for the purpose of inserting their own hands into the money stream.  I NEVER donate to anyone over the phone.

many calls, I NEVER pick up calls from unknown numbers and this one has never left a message of course.  Just got another call at 6:35 pm Sunday evening.  If it really is some call center trying to get donations for Doctors Without Borders they're not doing to charity and favors!  If I want to donate to the charity (or ANY charity) I will do it directly and not allow one penny of my taxable donation to fund a call center operation that doesn't have the common decency to leave a message.  

If you can't leave a message it isn't a real call.

It's Doctors Without Borders. I actually finally picked up and let the person do their spiel (actually was multitasking) and declined in the end. I told him we received their stuff in the mail and would think about it. It was civil and did my blood pressure good. But there's gotta be a better way. I could say "please do not call here again" but that has not worked, ever. The guy said thanks for hearing me out. I'm no "good fairy" but I just don't see any other way and it was making me more and more angry. It was a selfish gesture on my part. I just settled into the mindset that the caller is just doing his job.  Yeah, it was wasting his and my time and energy to have this mindless exchange but overall it was better than the alternative.

Called asking for wife.  When told "She is not here may I takea message?", the response is no message sir.

Many calls from this source, two in a row today.  No voice mail left.  I'm adding them to my Ooma blacklist.

I get several calls a day from this number.  When I answer, they hang up!  If it is a solicitor, how will they make a sale if they don't talk, or leave a message?

I've received fourteen calls from this number in the last 3 days.  Can't find anything on who it is on the internet, but obviously other people are getting the same calls.  Probably a bill collector, like Portfolio Recovery.  They have about 130 phone numbers.
