these losers state they r a law firm and they are ignorant and extremely rude! if they are a law firm than  they need to act like it and go about things the right way! the sad thing is that there is an office full of them cause i here others. Call consumer protection

Got a message from Varker Law Investigation 818-483-4379 threating to sue me also stated that they would continue to call my work and tell them what I have done.  Then another phone call from 213-814-0215. the exact same man answers the phone.  I've contated the FBI and State Attorney office.

No voicemail was left.

I have been getting calls from this guy for 3 days. He doesn't always leave a message but the ones he has left I have saved. I can't make out everything he says except for the lawsuit part and he seems to be blessing me at the end, LOL. Hilarious!

I got a call from them today and it scared me because they knew what bank I used and my S.S. number. So I went to the bank and was going to close my account. My bank told me that if they did try to take money out of my account that the bank would pay me back. I have never got a payday loan but one time I looked into it online and did not do it. when I asked him who he was and what law office he worked for he said good luck in cort and hung up on me!!!

These people called my today saying in very broken english that my friend gave them my number as a reference to get a loan. Claimed to be a law office. I asked who they were calling at this number and they said Luvinia. Told them they had the wrong number and not to call back. Very irritating
My number is already on the do not call list. Guess it isnt working. Trying to get Sprint to let me block certain unwanted numbers that keep calling me

I received a call (10 of the back to back) from these people today.  I didn't answer the phone because I didn't recognize the number and they kept calling back.  I am very sick right now and in no way do I want to deal with anyone yelling at me.  I am glad I found out who this company is because the next time he calls I will make his life miserable!  I know FDCPA law and I know what and what not can be said and I can assure you that I will sue the hell out of them if they so much as threaten me with anything!

Me again...  This Nancy Smith will not stop calling me.  Very frustrating so I went online to the FTC and filed a complaint there.  Trying to figure out where else I can go to file this complaint.  They are calling from a cell phone-because that's what comes up on my caller id.  I called that number back last week and an Indian guy called saying "law office"  law office my a***.  He started yelling too and making threats and I told him to leave people alone and quit this fraud scam they are doing.

I got my first call from this number today a female for the first time dont remember her made up name and deleted by accident but that I was a reference for a person that is actually a friend and I am sure he uses me as a reference but she asked me to have him call to pay or I would be in big trouble and the debit would be transfered to me LOL!  It is too bad they get people to pay but if we all keep spreading the word about these scamers they may stop... dont give in to them and hey if you are having a bad day just take it out on them!  Just make sure you advise the credit bureaus and make sure you do not end up bing the victium of identy theft.  Do not provide them with any info ever.

I have been recieving these calls since August, I of course panicked the first few times considering they have my SS number address and bank -- however it made no sense to me as i have only ever taken out payday loans in a store not online.  I remember looking around online and applying one time and i am afraid that is where they got my information.  This Indian guy calls, threatens me over phone or VM.  If i call back he gets very aggressive yelling (which i can hardly understand) At one point i told him he was a fraud and couldn't even speak english - he then hung up on me and answered the next time stating he was a different person under a different name (clearly the same guy).  How do I get him to stop calling???? I have told him that i reported him to the police and he said "I am a part of the law" or some BS like that and it didn't even make him second guess calling me again.  Does the "Do not call list" really work for these a-holes??  Very frustrated.

Deb, Don't beat yourself up, I too fell for them once - out of panic and fear.  Since this transaction with them was recent, call you bank and see if you can reverse it.  I would suggest that you also change you accounts as they now have this informatiot of yours.  So sorry for you, belive me I know how you feel right now, but like me you have leanred and important and exspensive lesson.  They will keep calling form different names and numbers so be prepraed.  Keep checking this website to stay updated on thier latest tricks.  They have also been known to call the references people listed on applicaiotns and threatedn them with arrest also.  This is bull - a reference is not like a co-signer - they bear no fianancial repsonsibility even on valid loans.  These scammers are garbage and will sink very low to try to get you to pay.  Good luck and hang in there!

I have made the biggest mistake regarding this phone number 213 814-0215. I wasn't thinking when I received the call, stating there was a lawsuit against me for a payday loan. I pannicked because I am paying on a couple of payday loans I made online, that are in collection . I have made a partial payment, dumb me faxed a copy of my drivers license and all they asked for with an arrangement to pay the balance. They had all of my information. The thing is I just found out today after calling Kevin Matthews (indian accent) at this number that the loan he claimed I owed was for a loan made in 09 from  Fast Cash. Stupid me just realized today, that I didn't have a loan in 09 and he refused to give me any information about Fast Cash and he threatened me about not paying the amount I made arrangements to pay and that I could faced up to paying them $5,000 plus.

I have received phone calls from 213-814-0215 also from an Indian lady who said her name is "Nancy Smith".  I told her to quit calling, she kept calling then I told her she's already been reported to the FBI and she stopped.  It shows up on the caller id as Wireless caller which means she's calling from a cell phone.

I had the same thing today, I also had it last week and about a year ago. they change their numbers alot.... very frustrating. They are in India and this is a prepaid number

AN INDIAN OR ARABIC SOUNDING MAN IS CONTINUALLY HARASSING ME ON THE PHONE CLAIMING I OWE HIM $$ FROM A PAYDAY LOAN WHICH I NEVER HAD LOL
HE ALWAYS CALLS FROM A "213" AREA CODE BUT SOMETIMES THE NUMBER CHANGES SLIGHTLY
LAST WEEK THEY CALLED UP TO 10 TIMES PER DAY AND HE SAID HE IS CALLING "ON BEHALF OF HIS CLIENT" WHICH HE REFUSED TO NAME BUT LATER REVEALED WAS "US CASH ADVANCE" AND THAT I AM BEING SUED AND SHOULD PREPARE FOR COURT!!!!
HE HAD MY SS NUMBER, ADDRESS, ETC..
I DENIED OWING HIM $350 BUT HE JUST KEPT GETTING LOUDER AND LOUDER AND ARGUING WITH ME. I ASKED HIM TO PROVE IT AND I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANY PROOF THAT I OWE HIM OR ANYONE ELSE. THE LAST CALL I RECEIVED FROM "213 814 0215" I TOLD HIM I CALLED THE POLICE WHICH I DID AND THE FTC TO REPORT HIM. I TOLD HIM THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM AND HE LAUGHED AND CONTINUED TO PRESS ME FOR MONEY. THE FTC SAID THEY KNOW ALL ABOUT THESE TRICKSTERS AND HAVE HAD THOUSANDS OF CALLS REGARDING THIS SAME SCAM. I ALSO CALLED "US CASH ADVANCE" WHICH IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY AND THEY DENY KNOWLEDGE OF THIS SCAMMER AND WERE PERTURBED THAT THESE PPL WERE SLANDERING THEIR NAME. BTW- THEY ALSO HAVE A PHISHING SCAM DISCLAIMER RIGHT ON THEIR WEB SITE. THE WOMAN FROM US CASH ADVANCE SAID THEY DO NOT EVEN DEAL WITH ONLINE LOANS, THAT THEY ARE A SMALL COMPANY AND YOU HAVE TO WALK INTO THEIR OFFICE AND FILL OUT AT APPLICATION. I BELIEVE THAT THESE OTHER SCAM ARTISTS ARE INDEPENDENT OF THIS COMPANY, THE FTC ALSO REVEALED THAT PPL ARE ACTUALLY PAYING THESE FOREIGNERS OUT OF FEAR AND LATER THEY FIND OUT THAT THEY DIDN'T EVEN OWE THEM MONEY. I HAVE ALSO RECEIVED A CALL FROM "213 805 0293" WITH THE SAME BS. PPL- DON'T FALL FOR THIS AND BE SURE TO CALL THE FTC, REPORT THEM, PUT YOURSELF ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST, ETC. IF YOU DO ANSWER THEIR CALL DEMAND SOMETHING IN WRITING THAT YOU OWE THEM MONEY. THAT IS THE LAW. IF THEY CANNOT PROVIDE YOU WITH THAT INFO THEN IT IS OBV A SCAM.
