they keep calling and will not say anything

It is a online car loan company.

Ever since I completed a loan app with Loan Depot have had numerous attempts at identity theft which started with an e-mail to pull a credit report specifically for loan depot by freecredit (which listed an entire page of entities by which they are known), calls from South America and now this (213) 985-7439 out of los angeles, ca about a job that I never applied for

I recently applied for a bill consolidation loan and now I am getting numerous calls from this number.  Have not answered yet.  Very leery of out of state numbers I don't know.  I would not answer if I were you.  Does not sound legit.

A call came into my phone when I was not aty home. I tried to cvall the number and got an operstor stat ing the number called was invalid??? somethng is gioing on here????

Got this call today. Lady asked for a woman (not me) by name and said the lady had requested her credit be checked.

I just got a call from a lady that asked for brandy and I said this is and she hung up. She called twice second one I answered... Does that mean they will get my bank info n stuff if I used my bank card over the phone?

We have received 5 phone calls this morning from 213-985-3550, do not answer phone as do not recognize the number, they never leave a message. "Scum bags" stop your harassment, you will be reported to the proper authorities - GET OUT OF OUR LIVES!!!!!!!

I got my credit report from TransUnion last night. I just received three simultaneous calls from 213-985-3550. No one was on the other end. Think I'll just have AT&T block it for me.

I answered a call from this number and they asked for me by my first name I asked who's calling they said some credit place and asked if I was available I figured it was a solicitor and said no and hung up. Awhile later they called back and when I said hello like 3 times. They hung up. You can't call the number back because it says its not in service

Yep.  I got 2 calls from 213 985-3550.  I got my credit score yesterday abnd the call started today.

I have gotten 4 calls today from this number.  I signed up for ScoreSense.com because of Amone.com (who, BTW, suck and have no customer service skills).  I found out that scoresense was going to start charging me $29.95 a month after 7 days, so I called them ASAP and had them cancel it.  Apparently, ScoreSense does sell your information.  Bummer dude... Now I am worried about my SS# and everything else I provided.  Hey, at least I got my credit score!  HA!

Received two missed calls from this number but would not leave a message.

Just checked www.spokeo.com 213-985-3350 is flagged as a telemarketing number.

Also checked what site hubby used to check credit scores, it was scoresense.com

Well this number goes on the block list now.

213-985-3550 has called twice today and asked for my husband. I politely said 'This is his wife, he's at work, may I take a message.' Both times they called I said this. Same woman on other end both times, first time she said 'we don't have a call back number I will call back later', second time just said would call back later then just hung up on me.

I am curious. He just did a credit score check too, can't remember site though. Sounds like a scam of some sort to me.

Same thing happened to me.  I requested a free credit report yesterday offered by ScoreSense.com.  This morning I got this call.  Lucky that I have caller ID & I didn't answer the call before I used the reverse-phone-look-up.  Going to block that number.

I answered my cell phone from number 213-985-3550 a women answered and she said she was calling from home owners group, I couldn't make out what else she was saying so I keep asking her what r u talking bout, she said holding and the line went dead, I tried calling the # back couldn't get back n touch, line dead!! They just called again and hung up!!!!

I just filled out info on the rent-to-own website before I started receiving calls from this number and some other out-of-state numbers. I'm sure it's related to that.

I got a call from this number, when I asked who it was they asked for me again, when I asked who was calling they said they would just keep calling me and hung up. they didnt give me an answer on who it was

I did the same thing.  I went to gofreecredit.com and got my credit report from equifax and the very next day, it got two phone calls one from 213-985-3550 one at noon and one at 3, so I blocked them, and I also got one from allen texas and that phone # is 469-854-3870 and they asked for me by name and I kept asking them who are you looking for and then hung up on them, and they have not called me back and I blocked their number as well.  I am greatful AT&T has the phone # blocking capability!!!!!  I agree with Sylvia I want to choke someone.  If I wanted a service I would call you, I don't want them calling me!!!!

I just received a call from this number and did not answer.  I got a little excited when I saw it was coming from LA as I write screenplays.  I googled the number and found this page.  I recently obtained a credit report through my bank who gave me the annual credit report.com website but I first went to Experian and put my info in including my social security number.  I stopped when they asked for a credit card number.  Did anybody else put in for a credit report.  I am not liking the internet much anymore.  How do we get rid of it.  Oh, we can't.
