I believe this is a People Finder Search engine that is calling to see if anyone answers the phone.  They will put all of your personal information on the search engines on line.  They just want to verify that it is a working number.  Search your name online to see if your personal information is on line.  When they call do not answer the phone.

Kept receiving calls but they never leave a message.

The callers are auto repair warranty scammers, trying to fool people into giving them their credit card number to purchase a totally worthless policy!

This number called yesterday and today. Thanks to the info on this website, since I don't recognize the caller, I simply turn off the answering machine and let the phone ring and ring. One more time, however, and I will block this number. (But, I find that scammers rarely call more than a couple times from the same number.)

Caller ID is "Name not found"  no message and hangs up.

This is a Search Engine Company trying to verify your phone number to put all of your personal information on the search engine searches on the web,  and on their site.  Do not answer the call but your personal information may still end up on the web. Do a search on your name.

Extended Warranty Scam

Scammer call offering an extended warranty from Turnkey Auto Group, W Palm Beach, FL.  They claim their warranty is exactly like a new car warranty (lie) and cover everything (lie).  They say to make a down payment via your credit card and they will send you the warranty (which is completely worthless).   Got high pressure and attempts to get me to give them my credit card number for a payment.  They say they will give a refund if you don't like it but there are hundreds of people complaining that these scammers will never refund your money.  Stay away from extended warranty scammers unless you have extra money that you want to lose and never get anything.

Phone companies MUST make provisions for their customers to block entire area codes and or exchanges.

It is 2013 and for us to still be in the dark as to the physical location of these vermin shows just how useless government is. Come on, rest assured the fricken phone companies could charge you for a call they sure as hell can tell you where it originates from.

Exact same thing. they were the factor servicing agent.... records indicated warranty had expired, named yr and model car as well as names of my wife and I as well as my address.........pieces of s***.

Another Turnkey Auto Group.....called about my extended warranty...said it had expired....I told them I have a 7 year 100,000 mile factory warranty....they said their records indicated it had expired....I asked if they were an aftermarket warranty company...she said no, they were the factor servicing agent, but that she would update their records and hung up.....Middle eastern accent.....another scammer....but knew my address and name.

Wanted me to extend my warranty on my car.  I said "I don't want to extend!"  She said good bye.  Stupid telemarketer.

I keep getting calls from this number, I won't answer.  Caller ID just posts the number, no message left.

Received a call from this number today asking for our daughter.  Told them we were NOT interested, they hung up.

Call was from "Texas".  Clained to be from TurnKey Auto Group.  They asked if I still owned a 2010 Inpala (I sold it a year ago).  I asked if they were selling an extended warranty.  They said Yes.  I told them I was on the DNC list and they applologized and said she would not call again.  Polite enough - but I don't think they will remove me from anything.  Filed a DNC complaint.

Keep getting phone calls from this number and alwys at dinner. Want them to stop please.

Another Auto Warranty Scammer.  Asked for us by name.  Had info on an old car we owned ages ago.  Like to know how these sickos got this information!  Agent got angry when I would not verify any information he had or give him any further information.  When informed we were on do not call lists they hung up.  Will be filing another report to FTC and State Attorney General Office and blocking number.

I blocked a number from the same area code whose number started with 0, now I'm getting them from the same area code starting with 1 ... don't know what their issue is.  I don't answer, block, yet I am convinced it is the same caller bank.  Sad.

Received rash of calls from this number and others numbers on my phone. Don't answer. Never had so many in one day!

A caller from this number asked for Mr or Ms ( could not ever read it correctly)and   just mention about a very important information. That person did not want to give a name of the company its calling from
I could not understand what exactly this person wanted to say. It is obviously is a scam (possible from another country).
How to stop it?

It's something like Turnkey Auto Group wanting to sell extended warranty.  We are on DNC and still getting these calls!  I'm making a complaint now.

I just added this number to my automatic forwarding service.  The call goes right to either the FBI - Homeland Security - or Secret Service.  Let them take care of all these extra calls.

It appears that these scammers are running out of spoofed numbers to use, as any reasonable person would recognize this is not a legitimate number. But then again, there must be quite a few people who are not reasonable, as these scams have gone on for years.

Any number with a prefix of 0 or 1 is a number that is routed outside the US. That the foreigners obtained the number from Texas is probubly due to the cheaper prices since the state isn't drenched in taxes.

Same thing here - They keep calling my business cell and they always hang up when I answer. Those folks should be called at their homes over & over and hung up on as well. Tried to call this number back - it tells me call cannot be completed as dialed and then hangs up.

There would be no purpose in anyone answering a call from this number. The callers are scammers, and answering their call will only lead to aggravation!
