I didn't answer based on the information here, but I do live in NE, am on the No Call List, and Caller ID showed the call coming from Lincoln (no message was left).  But it's March, so assuming it was the FOP, apparently they look for donations year-round.

The Number belongs to The Fraternal Order of Police from Nebraska.  It's the State Police calling asking for Contributions again.  They generally call during the month of November and usually finish the first week of December.  I just ignore the call and let the answering machine pick it up.  They hang up, but will try again.  If you live in Nebraska, it's something you just have to live with...

I have repeated;y asked to have name & number removed. I have told them in our area there is NO police station. The caller got very rude and snippy with me. I returned the attitude full force. Have also gotten calls from Fraternal Order Sheriff, EMS, Fire Dept, Ambulance.etc etc............such a scam. I doubt any money actually goes o help any organization after the salaries of this company harassing us is paid. Caller ID shows: Lincoln NE

Fraternal Order of Police asking for donations.

I got a call from this number specifically asking to speak to my husband by name.  I replied that he had passed away which took the caller off-guard, I guess.  I knew it couldn't be anyone we knew as my sweetheart passed 3 years ago.  I'm on the DO NOT CALL list.  I shouldn't be getting calls like this.  I'm reporting them.

How do these people get away with calling numbers at random when they are on the "Do not call" list.???  I get calls from politicians, people selling windows for my house, or wood floors,- also paid up funeral arrangements, (they think I am old and ready to die), security protection for the outside of my house, policemen who want a donation, etc.  These people need to get a real job!

So now I have caller ID and I don't answer any calls unless I know the number.  Isn't it sad that my calls have become so limited.????  The Do Not Call list means nothing...

Received a call from this number, no one there when I answered.  I filed a complaint with the Nebraska Attorny General's office.  This is a harrassment call.  I advise everyone who receives a call from this number and they hang up when you answer to also file complaints.  This crap is getting rediculous.
