I was called on 6/11/14 from the 214-228-4484.  Someone by the name of Amy stated that she was calling in behave of the US Department of Grants and that I have been selected to receive 7k.  This 7k was for not filing for bankruptcy in the last 6 months and paying my bills on time.  I asked her was she sure.  She said yes 200 Pennsylvania ave and to call 315-636-6654.  I looked up the number and it was from NY.

This number called me this afternoon at 2:21 p.m., June 5, 2014.  After a few moments of silence, the phone rang back and a woman came on the line with a very heavy Indian or Mid-eastern accent.  She asked to speak to me by my name, and I said speaking.  She said she was with the U.S. government grants department and I had been selected to receive $7000 tax free, which I never had to pay back, etc., etc., etc.  I was selected because I always pay my bills on time, never had a bankruptcy, etc., and before she could go any further I told her that I was not interested-- that I felt like this was a scam, that this was my second call, and I just did not want her money.  She said okay then, good-bye, and hung up!  I don't know where these people get our names and phone numbers, but they must think all us senior citizens fell off a turnip truck!  My caller id just showed the number with no name -- out of area!  Thank goodness for Caller ID!

Got a call from this flake on Saturday.  Didn't give me his name, but my computer (hooked to my telephone for scanning) ad Jeff Hahn.  Wanted to assist me with my debts due to my college loans.  Said he could help reduce my payments.  Well here's the joke. I'm 63 years old and haven't seen the insides of any school since my youngest (35) graduated college. What I hate the most in this world is thieves disguising themselves as helpers.  He should be found and put in jail.

When I answered the phone, phone rang and a person with a heavy middle eastern or indian accent called.  Telling me that there was something wrong with my computer and wanted to talk about the error messages.  I told him he had the wrong number many times and he kept saying no mam, no mam.

I asked him to spell the name he was trying to call.  I could barely understand him.   Well, wasn't us.

It sounds and smells like a scam.  Beware!

This number comes up as shari hahn. Its a finance scam company. I have already filed a report with my local police department. Next time they call I will answer and tell them if they ever call again they will be arreseted. I've done this in the past and it works most of the time.

calls 5 times a week. never leaves message

Just got a call from this number. When i picked up I heard a ringing tone as if I were calling someone and the line picked up with many people talking in the background obviously not speaking English. I waited without saying a word and about 15 seconds into the call the guy on the other end finally said "hello?" as if I had called him... There's no way this is a reputable company judging by the way they conduct business. wish there was a way to get them to stop calling me.
