These "direct buy" c***suckers keep calling my cell phone from not only this number, but also 214-298-0215 and 214-435-0275.  I use my cell phone for work since I am a consultant, and I end up talking to these peter puffers every time they call.  Each time they tell me they will stop calling me, but surprise!!!!!!  There they are again.

We also received a message of simply "goodbye." I guess they don't know how to hang up on an answering machine.

They called to my cell. As I don't know the number and it's not on my area code, I checked here first. 3 pages plus counting... no I don't think I'll answer.

A woman called today from 214-272-0536 saying she was from Direct Buy & that we won a $50,000 home makeover.  I said you know I am already a member of Direct Buy?  She was unaware of that.  They are trying to sell memberships to Direct Buy.

If they are calling your cell phone, simply add them to your blacklist / don't call list.  Search google:  how to add caller to black list iphone

Recorded person left a message saying 'Goodbye'. I blocked the number

Received phone call from 214-272-0536 on March 10, 2014 @ 10:04 a.m. on my personal cell phone.  When I picked up the receiver to respond "Hello" no one responded.  This is very irritating to receive a phone call from a solicitor on my personal cell phone.

Received a call today.
Because of the delay in picking up the phone and someone speaking I knew it was a robocall.

When they finally came online and said "hello"
I responded with "yes robocall, how can I help you"
They responded "I must have dialed the wrong number" and hung up.

It appears that they simply don't want to talk to anyone that knows what they are up to  :)

It's a scam don't answer that number

C***suckers called my cell phone, using a local Dallas number, saying they were in Woodbridge, Virginia. I use my cell phone for business, so had to answer this one. Indian accents, very hard to understand. This is a phone bank of scammers; do not give them any info and block them if you can. A***oles are calling in violation of the Texas AND Federal DO NOT CALL LISTS.

Some lady called from Direct Buy. I think she wanted to sell me something. I told her she had the wrong number and hung up on her before she had a chance to respond.
I'm p***ed because the number looked just like my vet's number and they woke my sick dog up who is re covering from surgery.

Oh I agree with you.  I hate these people and it's wrong. I wish I could do to them what they have done to me!!

"LUCKY" me I'm a contest semi-finalist....I just need to go to a seminar and get a 3 day 2 night vacation getaway package.  I didn't realize companies still try to pull this crap.  Best part is, it sounded like the guy who called was in the middle of an auditorium and no amount of his yelling so I could hear him allowed me to understand anything he was saying.  

This call came into our phone/fax line this afternoon.  Both of our land lines are listed on the Do Not call Registry.  My husband was expecting a call from a 212 area code , not a 214 area code.  He returned the call, and received some kind of recorded message saying the  company's name was Direct Buy.  We do not use a Direct Buy service.  I just reported this number to the Do Not Call Registry as a Do Not Call List violation.  I am surprised that this company is located in Texas.  We are not in contact with anyone living in the Lone Star state at all although both of us have estranged first, second and third cousins who have moved to Texas whom we only see at funerals.  There would not be any reason at all for anyone from Texas to call us over the phone, especially from some kind of outfit called "Direct Buy."

This woman called from Direct Buy while I was sitting in an emergency room waiting to get help for my mother, who had fallen and had obviously broken something. Block the call.

Company is Direct Buy.  They called my personal cell phone despite it being on the do not call list.

214-272-0536 called my cell today.  First, I added them to my TrueCaller blocking app, so I won't be bothered by them again.  Then I used the trunk line from my work to call them back.  It is Direct Buy.  I decided to call them back multiple times and waste as much of their time as possible...taking gibberish at times and telling them the $25,000 prize was too low.  I did my best to over talk them almost every time they started talking.  I was transferred to another agent and so I did it all again.  I asked to be transferred to a manager or supervisor...etc. but they said there are not any managers here...really, who manages this call center????  I wasted 12 minutes of their precious call center time.

A female called to tell me I was a finalist to win a home makeover with Direct Buy. She congratulated me multiple times. She asked me for my age to make sure I would qualify. When I told her I wouldn't tell her my age she said that I sounded like a minor and I wouldn't qualify unless I told her my age. I laughed and then she hung up on me.

Got a call this morning that my number had been selected for a $50K "home makeover" or $50K cash.  I don't register my cell number for contests, so it's probably a scam of some sort.

This was a call from Direct Buy telling me I've won a $50,000 prize.  Hung up on them.

I got a call from them too; looked it up; Dallas TX; no voise, hung up and saved it as "DO NOT ANSWER; SCAM", we need to figure out how to put their number into something that bugs the crap outta them too

Interesting tactic this time... Our machine picked up and a female voice said "hello... hello?" I wonder if they do that thinking people are more likely to pick up if they hear a human voice. Oh well, didn't work on us.
