Just received a call from a man asking to confirm my name and DOB, when I questioned him he stated that I had a pending lawsuit in Texas and needed to confirm my name and DOB.  When I asked what company he works for he said that they will send someone to my county and then he hung up.  For one, I have no Debt and two, I have never lived in Texas to have a pending lawsuit. Beware of these idiots.

These people have called my relatives house phone numerous times after being told not to call. They have called before 8:00 am and they have threatened to sue me.

got a voice mail on my cell ph this evening stating they were calling from Commercial Recovery Systems, and I should return the call to Janice Cox at 888-978-8093. Attempted to call back, but got her voice mail asking me to leave my name, ph# and file #.  Don't know why they called and prolly won't follow up with them again.

Someone just called my WORK cell phone from this number and said to call Janice Cox at 888-978-8093.  This was a call from debt collector.  'Must be a scam because my voicemail states who I am and for whom I work, but that did not stop the woman from leaving a message.  We don't have debt problems because we don't have debt. IDIOTS!

These people just keep call for my Ex wife on something that has nothing to with our me when we were married. Have told to stop but it only got worst. I now talking to a lawyer to in law suit aganst them.

Heather Ferrel calls and puts you on the phone with Janice Cox who tries to negotiate so you can pay for an account that they calim is yours. They told me that they have a Judgement against you and when you check your county there's nothing on file. I looked up this numbers and I ran into all of this information. They do not even specify where they are calling from. I called again and they gave me an acount number that it was never mine and then she said that she thinks that the account they are going after is one out the three I have on file.

This same lady called my boyfriend's mother's house looking for him.  She also claimed they had a judgment against him that was filed in our county and that they needed a return call from him.  His mom called us all upset.  So I looked the number up trying to check it out and found all these comments on several different websites about this number and it being a possible scam.  I checked the court records to see if there was anything filed against my boyfriend and could find nothing.  I agree too that this must be some sort of scam, sounds like they are fishing for information... maybe to steal your identity... so please beware if you get a call like this... and DO NOT give them any personal information.

I received the same thing yesterday. Say that they have a judgement awarded against me in a previous state that I lived in. They had my last four of my social security number, current address. They also called me on my work cell phone which no one has and I do not put on any paperwork. They said the debt was with Wells Fargo and wanted to know what I was going to do about it. Said I was attempted to be served papers on 6 occasions, which never happened. Said they were going to garnish my wages, in the state I live in this is not allowed except on child support.
They called back today and left a message saying they wanted to know where to mail my judgement to. Wait, I thought they had my address. I looked up the clerk of court to see if this was true and nothing like that is showing up.
This must be a scam of some sort. I don't know how to get them to stop calling now that I had a conversation with them.

I just received the same type of call from this Number, for Janice Cox!!!!!!   Beware People SCAM!!!

Rcvd the call from same number wanting to speak with my dad.  They thought I was his ex-wife.  Gave me a case number but would not tell me any other info.  I called back and spoke with "Mrs. Cox" who said he had a judgement against him in the county he lives in with failure to appear in regards to gov't assistance fraud.  I looked this up on the county website nothing there.  Not to mention my dad has never had gov't assistance in his life.  Beware SCAM!    Scary part they called my cell phone!!

Some lady who said she is the secretary for Janice Cox called us to speak with someone, because this someone had a file in her office.  I asked what it was regarding and she kept telling me she is just a secretary and that I would have to have the person call Janice Cox within 48 hours.

I have a sneaking suspicion this is another debt collector scumbag.
