No message left, but have checked on this site and people are saying it is Wells Fargo so I called Wells Fargo and they have not called me..

These @$$holes called me at 3:45AM and 3:55AM this morning.  Can't get much more annoying than that.

They called my mom in the middle of the night.  Mean people s*ck.

Yeah, I live out of the country most of the year, so hardly anyone has my cell phone number.  I was wondering how someone got it.  (In Utah & didn't answer)

3 calls from this number in less than 5 minutes!  Ignored them all.  I'm also in Utah.

I received a call more than 5 times...if you enter a fake credit card number that passes the luhn check you can figure out what they are asking for.  They ask you to enter your card number, expiration date, your pin number and the last for digits of your social.  This is NOT FROM WELLS FARGO.  It is a scam using their name.  It is someone trying to get your information so they can take the money from your debit account.  DO NOT give them your information.  The first time I received an "UNKNOWN" phone call, I hung up and called wells fargo directly.  They checked my account and said they did not know what the phone call was about and they told me my account was not limited in any way.  They also said they will NEVER ask for any personal information over the phone EVER (because they already know all the personal information...it is in a file from when you opened your account).  Please do not ever fall for this scam...they will just take your money.

phishing scam.. trying to get your wells fargo info, this has been all over they news, They must think people are stupid enough to tell them their soc and debit card number.

Three calls from this number in less than 10 minutes.  We didn't answer any of them.  No messages left.

This is a scam that has nothing to do with Wells Fargo Bank besides the scammers are using their name in hopes everyone has accounts with them.  If you refer to the news in Utah a few week backs, it explained the scam.  The Standard also had a article about it.  They have no personal information except your phone number unless you mistakenly gave them your account number and information.

Yes (214) 382-9701 is a confirmed scam!  It is a group of hackers that are there to steal your information by saying your debit card is limited or your account has limited funds and then press a certain button to continue.  When you do this and give your information the hackers take your money and personal info thus making you later realize that you have been made!  People all over the country have had this happen in the last few weeks and have also realized that because of this they have lost most of their money.  

I personally don't like Wells Fargo and will not go back to using them, EVER!  So I think that its a scam anyways.

Same "Wells Fargo" call about my debit card.  Not a Wells customer so it can't apply to me.  100% sure this is scam.

Same deal for me. I guess I won't worry about my credit report.

11:00pm this time. No message left. I don't answer it until I know who it is. Wells Fargo has a variety of numbers they use!

No message was left. Called on 8/22/2011 at 3am!

I was woken up last night at 3am from this number! I am also from Utah, and the caller left no message.

They called me at 3am! No message was left.

Got a call from this number about 8:40 PM.  The message ended "press 1 now" but what was before that was not recorded.  I live in Salt Lake.  Guess this is the scammer's week to find suckers in Utah.

Same message from "Wells Fargo" as other callers. Called my wife at 10:30 at night and my phone 5 til midnight.  Called showed as unavailable on our phones. We also live in Utah.

6:47 AM. Message said it was from Wells Fargo, and my debit card was limited and to press 1 to continue. I hung up.

Phishing scam claiming to be from wells fargo

This number is calling my child's cell phone.  At 4:00 am!!!

Kiki, I receieved a call just a few minutes ago from same number. Please elaborate on the scam. Io am from utah as well.

Phishing call from wells fargo at 11pm 4th call today on my cell, we don't even bank with them

Received the call at 10:22pm and didn't answer.  An automated voicemail message was left saying it was Wells Fargo and that my debit card has deactivated, please press 1 to continue.

This happened to my wife any myself once before back in Feb 2010.

Automated message saying it was Wells Fargo and that my debit card has been limited, please press # to continue. Unfortunately, I am not a Wells Fargo customer. Received two calls today on my cell stating this. First call with this number. Second call 8 hours later showed caller ID as unavailable.
