we got a call sunday night bout 8 and if its state troopers doing donations why would they call sunday night about almost 8 when the norm is to call during the week thats strange and i called to see what it was during normal business hours and they said to call back on the phone that the calll originally was called at

Man called Sun. !/29/2112,  7:15 pm said sorry call was being recorded said something about trooper association. Told him immediatly that I donate to my local local law enforcement. Hung up.

caller id shows "texas"..... they hung up when answer machine picked up. Since I've been on do not call list, seems all I get is crap calls. Another website has flagged the # as a telemarketer

All that the people who visit here need to do is read the posts-a lot of advice is posted here about how to deal with the scum that are bothering them-the point is that it has to be truthful, legal and not cost them anything further down the line. I'm sure if you needed help in this regard that you wouldn't want some fool on here giving you the run-around, so what whocallsme says about this is true.

There is good information here on how to get a call-blocker, avoiding scams, reporting the scammers, getting lost money returned. There is also bad information-pranking the scammers in ways that can get the person in legal trouble or cost them money-like making threatening calls to an innocent person whose number is being used by the scammer, or repeated calls to the scammer's international premium-rate number.

This is a good site. What matters is how you use it.

The declared rule at the bottom of this page "watch your language and be truthful" is an ironic thing to say to people who are being harassed by a bunch of lying rude telemarketers. Maybe someone should hold these scamming lying pseudo-pigs that they should be truthful and watch their language. I don't take orders from a website or a fake cop so FAH-Quour. rules.

These are scammers and will of course scam you. Block the number from your phones and report them!!  When you answer a phone call that you do not know, it asures them that it it a good number and you will start getting all kinds of scams to get your monies!!  Why do you answer calls you do not know or want ??

Several calls from this number, never any message. The one time I answered they were soliciting donations to the Texas State Highway Patrol. Told them I wasn't interested and asked them to take my number off their call list. They still call

I worked for one of these companies in High School. They are independant from law enforcement. Basically, they collect money as donations and then donate some to the law enforcement agencies. They are not officially affiliated though. They generally donate 15-20% of their proceeds. Nice huh?! From AZ, we called for our county, some state stuff, stuff in CA, CO, TX, NV, and UT. Same crappy stickers, just a different place on them. That was 20 years ago and I still see the stickers on stuff.

Caller stated Texas State Trooper... I went to their site to ask a rep if they had contracted someone to solicit donations from that number. No response yet.

I got a call tonight from this number and a deep voice black male identified himself as a solicitor for the State Troopers Organization. He wanted me to give him my name and address so he could send me a donation envelope. I told him I did not do business over the phone and he tried to persuade me to give him the information. I hung up on him.

Caller ID said TX. Recording came on saying, "Please hold while we try to connect you", then disconnected.

A man called & asked  if this was Ms Jones,I said yes & he said he'd call me back. He didn't
identify himself or call back.

This number keep calling and when I answer they say please hold while we try to connect.
