"Do Not Call Registry" DOES WORK.... EXCEPT for companies listed as NON-Profit. I agree... there should be a way to stop them from calling over & over. The only way I found around it was to buy a special Caller ID, "Interceptor ID". You wire this directly to the phone line coming in and then wire the rest of the phones on it's output. You can block 75 numbers and your phone won't even ring when those numbers call.

We get the call about 2 - 3 times a day. I never answer, and they never leave a message.

Have almost DAILY calls from 214-396-5516; caller id reads:  "CFOC."  When I tried to call that number, the call simply will not go through...

I just received a call at 8:14PM on Monday January 2, 2012.  I also received a call on Thursday December 29, 2011 at 3:55PM, Tuesday December 27, 2011 at 4:44PM and Thursday December 22, 2011 at 2:57PM.  When you answer it is a Machine asking to speak to someone in your home and if you ignore the call they never leave a message.

These people keep calling every day.  I don't answer but today they left a message on my machine.  They were asking for my wife by first name, then my last name by title "Mr. ______ " .  I don't know who they are but I want them to stop calling.

The number that comes up on my machine is 214-396-5516 COFC.  One post before mine says it stands for Caring For Children.  That's possible I guess.  Maybe they're looking for donations...

Leading message to promote one's spouse calling back to figure out who it is.  It appears to be a one ring pager that generates revenue for the user.  Extreme caution when called by this number is recommended.  It is an obvious scammer.

The number came up on Caller ID as Out of Area but with the number showing. When answered there was no response just breathing online. We are on the national do not call registry so these calls should not be happening.

My caller ID said CFOC so as usual I didn't answer it. I don't answer any 800, 888, 877 or any bogus looking numbers at all. I'm sick and tired these s*** companies like this calling me when I'm on the "Do Not Call Registry" which obviously doesn't work at all!!!

I have had no less than 10 phone calls from this company in the past 2 weeks! They call 2 times a day. I called the number back once and the lady on the phone answered, "caring for our children". CFOC comes up on my caller id. I told them to stop calling me and remove my number from their list but no go, they keep calling. I desperately want to make them stop!

Have had this call numerous times.Getting sick of it!!!

I live in the Colorado Springs, CO and received this call at 8:57pm on 12/12/2011. I didn't answer it, but they are quite persistent.

This number calls over and over. I cannot get them to stop no matter what I say or do. I want to report it but I so not know what they are, what they do or what they want.  Thank you Marlee Shaw
