I got a call from a Karen Morris,Dept of Investigation,Processing & Adjudication,saying that I must get back to her immediately.She even gave me a case #.Never lived in TX,only passed through,changing planes to get to my destination.They'll receive a cease & desist letter from me instead.Even though she didn't state exactly,what it was about,or what State ( CA,TX,etc., )the matter was related toI'd say a debt collector.Got my Mom all shook up,when she checked her  ( phone ) messages.

Got a call from this and also 214-396-5551. I finally answered two weeks later to tell them to take me off the list. The woman said her records show that I am connected to a man I dated in college 18 years ago. I am now freaked out. I spent six months sleeping on couches and in scary hooker hotels to get away from this man. I have changed my name for the same reason. And yet they still got my cell number. I have spent a lot of money to ensure that my web presence is nonexistent. They said nothing about school. I think multiple companies use this umbrella corporate name to conduct business. They also contacted my mother who has moved, married, and has a new last name asking the same things. I just want to know who this is and how they found me. My name change records are sealed and I moved three hundred miles away.

Tired of these calls?  Dont WASTE your time with the DNC it is a JOKE. This C R A P wont stop until the telephone carriers/service providers decide to police their business. COMPLAIN to the telco direct (if you can - haha).

Turns out Peerless is a phone company (like ATT). Customers who use thier service can have the name "Peerless" show up on the called ID.
If you go to that web page above you will find numbers to contact them.  I called the Chicago office and then hit option #2 (the "Nock"?)  The gentelman who finally answered was VERY helpful and apologetic. He would not give me the name of the person in Texas but did put a block on my line so that they could no longer call me.

they called me on my work phone. that is listed under the companys name.
they had my first and last name so they are getting the numbers from somewhere else.
has nothing to do with internet sites. I don't put down my name and cell..strange.
it was about online classes that I have never done nor am interested.
2nd call today was a different number and the lady wanted my bank acct number to sign me up for a free computer...that number is 310-579-9105. posted a message on that number also!

I received numerous calls from this number and others; 415-363-9527, 312-683-9560 are a couple more. All of these numbers are from telemarketers for Career Institute.

Each was about college courses. I have not filled out any forms online in any manner and it is unclear how they were able to obtain my phone number (it isn't listed anywhere). When you call each of these numbers back there is an option to have your number removed from their calling list.

However, you must call each number back and have your number removed, doing so only once does not work! I hope this was helpful; I know how annoying this is! So far so good on my end.

I have been getting random calls really early in the morning.  They don't leave a message and when I picked up one call there was no one on the other end and the line just hung up.  what is frustrating is that I get about four calls every morning from different number every time.  I just don't get the purpose of these other than just to harass you.

I rec'd the same solicitor call, so I called 1-888-382-1222 DO NOT CALL list and asked my number be removed from the list.  Don't know if it works but I'm trying to get them to GO AWAY...the guy said something about online college courses, it was a lie.

Good afternoon I received this call from 214-396-5554 I'm a network tech and they are not a true LLC ,but they wanted to give me a credit card when I actually got past the dialer and got a human I said to the guy I. don't want a credit card and he hung up, I called back got the recording to remove my number from their database it prompted me to enter my number after the beep and in 72 hrs it would be removed, friends there is no beep because your dialing to a server with only 2 options, find the true company and have your number removed or call the BBB and report them I have 5 different 214 area codes with all different but close numbers believe me its a phone dialer program, I'm searching for the parent company so the FCC can shut them down.
