I have received two calls from these people. Yesterday I hung up. Tonight I hung up and tomorrow I will hang up. It is not a scam per se but most of the money goes in someone's pocket and I do not give money over the telephone, never have, never will.

they called 2/27/2013. caller ID said same thing. Incoming Call. 855 pm. State Troopers Assoc. or so they claimed. told them i couldn't help them. i heard already that they were a scam. very pushy in trying to get some money out of me. just hung up.

Called at 8:20 pm, even though I am on the dnc registry. Shows as incoming call in caller id. I didn't answer.

Called 2/13/2013 at 7:08 p.m. I did not answer. They left no message. I see from the other comments that this is the Texas State Troopers Scam I checked into back when I lived in the Dallas area. This is not a reputable group and you should not support them as indicated by other folks. I have already told them "no thank you" (last week) but they keep on calling. I will not be answering. Of interest, the caller ID field said "Incoming Call" where the name should be -- I have not seen this before.

Texas State Troopers Association telemarketer. They claim they give money to injured Texas Troopers, but records show only a very small percentage of the money actually goes to families. 75-80% goes into their own pockets. Do not give any money to these scammers.

Received first call tonight 2-10-2013 at 6:23 p.m. I let it ring until they hung up before answering machine picked up. I think call is from Dallas and I do live in Texas, but number is no one I know.
