Julia and the Admins are not known to leave back doors open for junk callers to change site content. There would otherwise not be some whiny lawsuit threat from a scamming call center here every other month.

As to what you think you heard from a CSR, ask your lender's management about it, not me. What you might do in general is make better sense when you complain.

Direct delivery doesn't work, and on the contrary, my callers *do* mauntain this website. In fact, my callers maintain all sites! Crazy! I know! Let's say for a minute it's true, for some people, in some weirdo alternate universe, all interpersonal exchanges, from online data to being alone with one or two dear friends in privacy of your own home, was being manipulated remotely... what the f*** would you do?! I mean, today I called the main number to my loan company, I was asked to hold for two minutes (two minutes? Ha!) And I hear what sounded like a man nerking off. Oh wait, that was yesterday too. Where's the solid advice on what to do about that? Speaking hypothetically, of course.

It's not a question of like or dislike of the comments. You say you're relying on this site for "actionable intelligence", so to speak. Can you please explain how endless variations of demands to "stop calling me" are helping you? Such pleas are not doing anyone a favor, least of all the people who post them here each day, who are at best confused about the function of a site like this. At worst, they are too impatient to care what site they've loaded and frequently give away the personal information they are trying to protect.

At the time of my caution there was next to nothing leading to a positive ID of the caller, and a few too many of those "stop calling" posts. I'm trying to spur smarter use of this resource, which means contributing what we know rather than expecting a tidy solution to come out like it's a vending machine.

If you are conducting your own research by calling back various nuisances, I hope you are reporting your experiences. You cannot assume that all junk call sources are untouchable and that the only response is to set a software flag on a mobile phone. Not everyone uses the same kind of phone, and simply ignoring illegal callers does not mean they aren't making a profit. Ultimately we want the callers found and prosecuted, by the FTC or an attorney general or a few thousand TCPA plaintiffs. None of that will happen without good data. Letting ignorance flourish *ensures* that nothing will change.

Got a call.  Pressed 1, asked name, call disconnected.

Caller ID says Win A Cruise, but when you try to dial back you get the "not a working number" message.  If this is tied to Disney, let's let them know.

I got a call from this number at 12:30 pm  with the name Kenneth L Sykes. Whoever it was hung up without leaving a message. Isn't it strange that in this age of Obama and New World Order tyranny  that these nusance calls have escalated. Remember I'm "Mary from Card Services", every day the same call. Yet, regardless of the hundreds or thousands of complaints with the FCC nothing was done as though they had carte blanche to do anything they wanted. It makes me think it was done on purpose as some sort of experimentattion.

Something must be done about these people.  Without exaggeration I get these calls 10 or 15 times a week.  I do report them but nothing seems to stop them.  I think it's well past time for our legislators to get involved in trying to find a way to stop them.  If I harassed a neighbor like this, I would be in jail.

I, too, received a call from this phone number.  Just returned yesterday from a trip to Walt Disney World.  I'm curious if anyone else here has recently returned from disney, and then started to get calls from this number.

Received a call from 407-957-2627 on Jn 25, 2013 @ 2:36 PM.  Caller ID read Sykes, Kenneth.  I picked up the phone and heard a recorded male voice.  The voice said I was a lucky one and I should call a telephone number to receive my prize.I hung up as the voice was leaving the phone number.

Their message apparently started during the outgoing message, so the first few seconds were cut off:
"?your claim number is 158. Press 1 now, to connect to one of our live agents, or 2 to be removed from this list." I'd be curious to know if the claim number is unique, or if everyone is getting the same claim number. It just seems to be an unusually low number for the number of calls they're apparently making

This call came in a couple days ago when I was not home, so could not press 2 to opt out. This was my first call from them, so I'll wait on blocking it to see if it comes in again, but I have filed an NDNCR complaint here: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
