This same number called me again today within a 10 minute period.They claim to be investigators for some company called Checksystems and that I was impeding an investigation by not telling them who I was or because I wouldn't give them any information. They got really rude and are obviously scammers because I called the real Check Systems and they said they had no number in Dallas which the calls originated from. Check Systems is located in Minnesota and they said that any calls they'd make would have that area code or a 1-800# attached to it.

If you get a call from these people, report them to the FTC. That's what I did.

These people have called me over the last couple of days. The first time I picked up the person said they were with some company called Chex Systems. When I wouldn't give them any information they hung. Then they called again a minute later saying they were some kind of investigator and that I was impeding an investigation as if they were law enforcement. They got rude and then hung up.  After calling the FTC and reporting it and checking with the real Chex Systems, they don't have any listed numbers in the Dallas area. It's pretty much a scam.


I now just let it go to voicemail and of course they don't leave a message. These people have called at least 4 times in the last couple of days.
