Received a call this morning.  This is www.payholiday.com extending a payday loan for up to 1350.00 with approval code.  They also call on different number with the same message saying that are "Holiday Cash".  

Received a call from this number this morning indicating that my account is past due.

Big time scam folks. It's one of the ways Dallas, Texas psychics and their despicable, foulmouth little juvenile uneducated offspring are ripping off the elderly and or anyone else for that matter. They mask their phone numbers and target anyone but seem to really focus on those poor unsuspecting elderly folk. Be smart and if you do not recognize the number, HANG UP the phone!! Got a call from 214-447-7713 calling our Hair Salon, saying he wants to remove his thick dick hair. ew no.

got the message and their number.Claiming that I am in some investigation.......it seems to be a serious crime. I am reporting them.

just got a call from this number claiming to be a federal agency. saying I didnt pay my taxes and their is a warrant for my arrest and police will be arriving in 30 mins.

Just got a call from someone saying he was a Microsoft technician. He said there were problems with Windows and wanted me to start accessing my computer so he could "fix the problems." Said my program should have been generating error messages and he would walk me through the repair process. I told him I didn't have access to that computer and would call him back. That's the phone number he gave me, said his name was "Sam Johnson" with a very heavy accent.

Idiot.

I have received a few calls from 214-447-0697. I never answered it and they never left a message nor did they send a text. This time they called at almost 10 PM. Obviously a scam because any debt collector / telemarketer can not legally call after, I believe, 9 PM.

I used to log onto my account online and block numbers that way but with the amount of scammers out there, I found it tedious. I discovered the Mr Number app for my Android phone. It's free and I highly recommend it. I can block anyone, even those in my contacts if I wanted to. I have the option to send them straight to voice mail or just hang up on them. It also gives you a scam rating....meaning how likely it is that they are a scam caller. Really user friendly too. Install it, use it and pass the info along!!! We can't really stop the scammers from calling without a headache but we can irritate them as much as they irritate us by hanging up on them.

I received a text on 2/20/12 from this number: "EppiCard message: ACCOUNT LOCKED. Please call 214-447-7499 to re-activate it." been getting a TON of texts with similar messages from all sorts of numbers. Clearly a criminal endeavor looking for a victim.

TO EVERYONE: This is a scam! DO NOT provide any information to said companies. If you have already done so please contact your financial institution that issued your card and have them cancel your card immediately.

I received a text asking me to call the same phone number for a M A S T E R - C A R D WEMX alert.  I don't own a MasterCard or any other credit cards for that matter.  I don't have any accounts with Morgan Stanley either...  I didn't call back!

I had same message a couple of days ago. Call both MC"s and NOPE neither is locked.
Calling attroney generals office today to report it.

Same here 2/21 this morning.  It was a text from "Morgan Notice".  I'm going to try to look them up on bbb.org.

I just received a text claiming a "Morgan Notice"  Sender was unverified, there was a number 917-454-1237 listed and the message told me to call 214-447-7499.   I have no account with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and it mentioned a card being locked, which I don't have.

Just got 3 of these, 2 seemingly wrong number texts in another language, then the last of which said "Morgan alert". I don't bank with, or do any other kind of business with Morgan.

Thank goodness for 800notes.com and others that you can check on these friggin scammers.  It's my work cell phone they are texting messages to, so very few people have this and anything out of my area code I don't reply to anyway.

I did too.  Did you just register for "legal shield" and "identity protection" associated with it?  I got a mysterious text the day after I did and then this one like a week later.  I don't bank at woodforest bank either.  I live in the DFW metroplex.  are you in this area?

got a text this evening thought tt was related to charges I made on card for Nasau Coliseum in Long Island. Recorded message says my debit card is locked, don't have a debit card. Called Master Card they checked and said # is a fraud. Either way they got my cell # and made the call. Don't give private info to unauthorized unsolicited calls/texts.

Its a scam......I would call bank report the fraud and cancel card.

Text message stating mastercard alert call  the number. when i called they want me to enter my mastercard account number. i would never just give it out and now realize its a scam beware
