I ignored the call thinking it was a scam, about a week later I had a process server show up at my house when I wasn't home, my daughter answered the door, luckily I contacted them by phone as soon as she told me and got to resolve the issue and avoid the paperwork all together.

I ignored multiple calls from this number, I never returned any thinking it was a scam. About a month later they located me at my job and my boss was veryyyyyyy pissed off.

I received a vmm and a call at my place of business wanting to serve me papers with a supervisor as witness. I hung up on them. When I called back their phone # I got a message. They had said they were a courier service and wouldn't tell me what it was for or who sent it but wanted to connect me to them. I just

Some lady called me, said i needed something to sign for. 1 day later a process server showed, they had me sign for some papers over my house. the voice mail sounded way too intimidating for what actually happened, they never came too my work either. a male showed at my house a few days after the voicemail. dont worry too much

They are scammers.  No one gives you a heads up you're going to be served - the court process server just shows up.  You also do not need a supervisor/manager present to act as a witness - they say this to work on people's fear of embarrassment.  You do not need two forms of ID either.

Report the calls to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  When the scammers call back, tell them you're recording all calls they make to you on the advice of your attorney for multiple violations of the FDCPA.

If they were a legitimate company, they would have no problem mailing you proof of your debt as per the FDCPA.  However, scammers and shady debt collections agencies will try to scare people into paying debts that are bogus, already paid off, are outwith the statute of limitations for collection or are for someone else entirely.

I've received 2 voicemail messages from "Ms. Cougar" at this number claiming they want to serve me "sealed legal documents" at my place of work, and I must have a supervisor/manager present to act as a witness. They also demanded two forms of ID, signature forms, etc. etc. I believe it's a scam, as I can't find any information on an "International Courier Services," and the procedures they're asking for don't sound like a legitimate process.
