Just got an text message from +1(301)-966-2359 interested about a truck I have for sale on autotrader.  Requesting pics of the engine and bumpers....   email mariamurphy13@gmail.com

Just recd. text from 254-442-0546 with mariamurphy13@gmail.com wanting pics of front and rear bumper of my BMW that I just put on autotrader.com which makes me wonder if they are trying to get a license number.  I googled this prior to sending them and will not be e-mailing pics.  

Got a text from mariamurphy13@gmail.com early this morning about a truck I have on autotrader. Wanting more pictures of the bumpers and engine. The number was 2102007312. I was thinking something was up when she asked for the pictures, since autotrader has 12 pictures you can see the bumpers in and good pictures of the engine.

Just got the same person form mariamurphy13@gmail.com asking for pictures of my truck. Used a texas number: 903-345-8306

I also got a text in teh middle of the night about my motorcycle .  Told me to send photos to mariamurphy13@gmail.com.  of the motor and bumpers. ..what the Heck?  NEW phone number 972-435-7347

I also got a text in teh middle of the night about my Jeep.  Told me to send photos to mariamurphy13@gmail.com.  When I got back in town, I sent the photos and the message back was about she can't meet, but can pay via PalPay.  Super fishy.. Thanks for the posts to confirm this was a load of crap

Mariamurphy13@gmail text me in the middle of the night last night about my vehicle on autotrader. Same scam. Asking for addition photos. This time it was a 904 area code.

Selling car on Auto Trader. Got a text from # 530-563-7324, mariamurphy13@gmail.com and from 214-612-2080, terribe1960@outlook.com. Their texts were exactly the same. Came in the middle of the night. Google searched the 214 # and came back with this website saying they were part of a scam. Contacted fraudwatch @autotrader.com. They said they were part of a PayPal scam.. Thanks for having these numbers listed as a scam. I thought something seemed odd but you verified it and fraud watch agreed.
We've all got to report these things when they happen, so that maybe we can put an end to these fraudulent activities.               Thanks, Lyndie

I thought using PayPal was safe. If the buyer sends you money, they cant take it back. And they can't withdraw funds from your paypal account, without authorization. So how does that scam work? holymoore4@gmail.com wants to buy buy my car sight unseen at full price + Paypal  fee from autotrader.com too, but he used 936-417-3536  a supposed Corrigan,Texas landline.

Same here, got a car up for sale on autotrader.com and received a barely literate text message from holymoore4@gmail.com.  Scammer is also using the email address mariamurphy13@outlook.com and sending texts from (214) 612-2080.

.....getting texts from this number and and 2524427347 re a Range Rover I am selling.......same text andquestions exactly from different numbers.....bizarre...prob scmmmers as you say

Scam artist. Texted from this number about a truck I am selling and wanted to buy the car sight-unseen and pay thru PayPal. Scammers do this because the seller has no protection using PayPal this way. Prospective "buyer" has excuses for not being able to talk, but this is definitely a scam artist.
