Got a call from this number and the would not identify themselves. They just wanted to confirm who I was.

Keep getting calls from this number, they will not leave a message, and when we answer they hang up. We are considering hiring a firm in Dallas to track them down, investigate, then serve them with a lawsuit. Anyone want to join in and make it a "class action" suit?

some women called from 2146130174. asked my name. I said that is me. she said she can not hear me clearly and will call back again. never hear from her again. some kind of scam.

called 1010hrs, 29 mar 2011, suspicious call, feedback and echoing of my own voice like a long distance number from another country, representative identified himself as Keith log from John tryires office and when asked what number he was calling from, he said he cannot divuldge that information. I asked him to hold and while I check to see if the person he is looking for is available. Within 3 seconds of being on hold he terminated the call. Based on the tone of the rep and his dimeanor, he seemed nervous, this leads me to beleive that he is probing for info for a follow up scam or phishing attemp. If you see this number in the future just hang up. Nothing good will come from the originator of this call.

Told me he is looking for someone with my name but gave a different company name. When I said I do not work for that company, he disconnected saying he got a wrong number.

2146130174 call my magic jack business number that is listed with do not call.  Since I don't use it for business anymore, I have it transferred to my mobile.  When I answered, "Hello?", they hung up.  When I tried to call back, it rang three times and went busy.

keep getting calls at my work phone, i inform them it's a government work # and they hang up without saying who they are!

they called asking for someone who does not work here and then hung up on the rep when he had them on hold. looks like this is not legit

Called with cryptic "are you still looking for a place"... we were both confused.   I hung up.  Phishing for personal info?

Saw a missed call from this number to my UK phone. No message left

8:43am 7/8/2010 Caller ID = Dallas TX 214-613-0174
Caller asked for the boss by name. When told the boss was out, the caller stated, "I'll call back later." and immediately disconnected the call. Tried to call the number back and the call would not go thru.

Call and said he's name is Andy Jones and calling from Bros Holding.  When my boss picked up he said he was from Automotive ?   He ended up handging up on my boss and said he had the wrong person.

Female asked for owner and wouldn't leave a message.  Nor would she leave her name or what company she was calling from.  Asked to leave a voicemail and I advised I was the owner's voicemail.  She still would not give me any information.

Saw a missed call from this number, no message left.

Got a call from 214-613-0174 May 9, 2011.  Lady with thick South Asian/Indian accent said she was calling for Larry Dykun from Ventriloquist.  Basically repeated my boss' name and wouldn't give reason for "Larry's" call.  Our business doesn't have any dealings with ventriloquists! LOL.

Got a call at work today. Caller ID said indicated it came from Dallas, TX. Didn't leave a message.

I received a call on my cell and the caller hung up after I answered.

I received a call from 214-613-0174 on my boss's direct line (which our Company direct lines are not published publicly).  I answered and he said he was looking for my boss and gave my boss's name. I told him he was in a meeting and could I take a message.  He said no and immediately hung up.  He had an India accent.

Hey, maybe next time they call, you should say that YOU ARE the person they are asking for..then, see what their deal is. I'm gonna do that next time!

Same thing here. The caller waits until I announce my boss' name, then asks for him. I explain that I screen all calls and to leave a messge. The caller then says (with an accent) 'oh, thank you for that information, I will call again". I tell him, "you'll get me again next time, so please, may I have your name and I'll pass the message along?"..and the caller hangs up.

Same thing for me. They are calling at my office in Montreal.

they just called me, they used my first name... and i said yes... then had a different last name... so i said no.... heres the thing... my first name is really unusual and hard to pronounce... so now im paranoid about who they are... (just a little)

Same thing happened to me just now and yesterday.  Both times somebody with an accent and both times said they were nly told to transfer call to my boss. I told the lady just now I cannot transfer it if you have no info for me.  She then said oh ok as soon as I get all the info I will get back to you !!!  Will usually tell people my boss will doc my paycheck if I transfer him a sales call.!!!

These people call my direct number at work a few times a week and NEVER leave a voicemail.

Anyone know who they are?
