I know Sean Pinegar personally and he is a thief and a liar. Don't fall for it. He's trying to take your money.

Same thing only this was "Russ Kimzui" who left me a message "about a new project". Sorry, Russ, I have enough new projects....not calling you back!
JV 2014-06-02 13:09:47 Unknown
Yup, just got this as well here in NYC.....glad I searched the name and number....great site.

How long you been working for them?

Same as everyone else, left a message to call back about a new project. We wont be calling back. Message deleted.

A caller (Sean Pinnacle) left a message. When I called back they gave me to a Chris Burt (who sounded an awful lot like Chris Pinnacle.) Didn't say how they got my name or number. Looking for a minimum of $100,000 investment saying previous investments returned 3-5000% percent! I asked them to mail a prospectus. They then start asking a lot of personal financial information. I hung up. If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck......DUCK so you don't get hit by duck sh*t!

Hey. Sean Peneger. Suck it. I'm not calling you back.
Mark 2014-04-02 16:22:49 Telemarketer
Sean Peneger (sp?) called and used exactly the line "This is regarding a new project" with no further details. Fortunately I found these postings. These guys are definitely a scam. Don't waste your time returning their call. You will lose any money you give them, and they have no business for your company.

A man requested to speak with a specific financial executive concerning "a new project." I asked if he were calling to introduce his company, and he replied yes. However, he hung up when I explained that I was transferring him to the area that would give him the instructions on the procedure to follow. Just another pompous idiot to cap off what has been a long day of idiots.

Same as Carol. Got a call requesting to speak to the owner, knew him by name, though it's all over our website. I told him he was not in, and said that I could take a message. He said "Sure, my name is Sean, that's S-E-A-N Pinegar, with Magna Resources." He left the 214-630-4990 number and said it was regarding a new project, then hung up before I could ask him to elaborate.

TWO SPAM CALLS WITHIN 4 MINUTES!
214-630-4990 called Mar 27, 2014 3:53 pm and 3:49pm. Caller ID = MAGNA RESOURCE. Left a message that said "(my name) this is Shawn Penninger, give me call when you get the change at 214-630-4990, this is regarding a new project"
This caller is BLACKLISTED. Thanks 800notes for the heads up.
This company has complaints from BBB.

Same thing! I received a call from Sean Pinegar, of Magna Resources. His number is 214-630-4990. He said, "tell Jim there is a new project." That's it!
Said that when he calls, he will get his receptionist. Other than that, he was pretty uninformative. Happened to Google his number and this page came up. Am attaching it to my message that I am sending to my employer.

guy named Penegar said from Magna Resources asked for owner by first name( in a manner implying he was personally acquainted with owner). When told owner not in and asked to take message he gave his number and said please have him call I want to speak to him about a new project; then hung up before I could ask any more questions.

"Sean Pinegar" called from 241-630-4990 (Magna Resources) and was asking to speak to my boss by his first and last name, regarding "a new project". My boss has no clue who this guy is. "Sean" didn't care to leave a detailed message with me. This is exactly like "Wold of Wall Street" where they ask you to invest (give them) a large amount of money in hopes to double or triple your investment. Yea right. You will lose your original investment to these scam artists. I hate telemarketers and I hate "get rich quick" scams. Such an annoyance. Get a real job you low life scum bags!

They called and left me a message that was a lie. Left a fake name, too. I have no doubt these guys are more successful raising money than they are at finding oil or gas.
Brett sounds like a shill.
Stay away!

I received a call from these guys a couple of years ago. at first I was skeptical and pissed off with how aggressive they were. who are they to ask me for money to partner with them on an oil well right? well, my wife calmed me down and reminded me of how I had to do the same things in the past to garner business for my company. it sucked and people hated me. I sympathize but still annoyed. anyways, long story short, I did invest and I made a pretty good amount of money. im still making money and I got a tax break on top of that. are there a lot of scammers out there? certainly. two years ago, my opinion would have been very negative but not anymore. did I just get lucky? its possible. most investments are risky. its kind of like the lotto, you cant win if you don't play. if you have some money to play with, hell, I would give them a ring. just my 2 cents.
Chris 2013-12-05 20:13:29 Telemarketer
Not sure how they got my info, or how they figured I had $100K to invest in an oil well, but I told them I would at least look at their information.
Spoke to a guy named Craig Clausen. Website is http://www.magna-resources.com/. Dunno if its a scam. In any case, hoping they will accept a firm "not interested"

"Scott Casper" called from this conmpany, regarding a potential project. He refused to be transferred to the appropriate party, and wanted to contact the CEO another time.

aggressive, mysterious caller Lori trying to push her way through to the owner; insistent that she had to speak to him. we determined they were soliciting and called back to 214.630.4990; the person on the line said she would add to their do not call list. don't let them bully you.

CALLED WORK AFTER HOURS NONSTOP OVER 100 TIMES. ANSWERED TO AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE AND CALLS CEASED.

keep harrassing me
iLion 2009-04-01 14:21:22 Unknown
I didn't answer. I'd like to know if/how to report this sort of call.
My tack these days is to simply not answer if I don't recognize the caller. I look them up online first, and it's almost always a telemarketer or other sales call.
jkb 2009-02-19 16:12:11 Unknown
called like he knew my husband and said he would call back tommorow. Would not leave a message.
wukk 2008-12-05 00:05:23 Unknown
How these people got my name is one question. The second is why they thought I wanted to invest in oil and gas company.
