They called me with a scamm threatening to have me arrested if I didn't pay up.

Calls occasionally, infrequently.  Doesn't respond to texts (of course not).  Never picked it up but have called back.

Calls everyday and hangs up.  Joker!

number has called me 20+ times. at least 5 of these times I have answered begging the indian man to take me off his list.. then he hangs up... then calls again in a couple days. About to get this number blocked because he always calls while I'm in class.

I received a call from this number at 12:42PM CST. I answered and heard 3 beeps and then whoever it was disconnected so I thought I'd look it up. Imagine my surprise to see this website. What is this number? Who is it coming from? It sounds like a "universal" phone number to spam people from. Also, what does "SMS" stand for? Thanks.

Have googled this number and found other "who called me" sites saying they called the number back and it went to google voice mail... googled 'google voice mail'.   Bad mistake for a call back on the number 2147021253 is a routing number.... it could be one or more numbers pointing to this phone number.... when you call this number back it wrings all the numbers pointing to it.... meaning a call center can enter 50 numbers pointing to this number and have 50 people sitting there waiting to answer the call.... once you call it back they have your name and number.  DO NOT CALL IT BACK  See the pros and cons here of google voice: http://www.pcworld.com/article/167424/google_ ... hink_twice.html

I have been getting silent calls from this number for the last two weeks. If I pick up there is NEVER anyone on the other end. When I called it back, I got a Google Voice recording. Getting bored with this...

Same as everyone else. This number has been calling me for a few days. It is a Dallas area code and since I am in Dallas as well I thought it was someone I knew. I finally answered and the Indian guy said I won the Texas State Giveaway. I knew it was most likely a scam. I said I am not interested, and he was persistent he was not selling me anything, he just needed me to come to his office to pick up the package. I then asked them who he was trying to contact and he couldn't give me a name, he just said the owner of my phone number. That alone tells you he is a scammer. He doesn't know who he is contacting, he is just mass calling people. I hung up on him because I was busy but next time he calls I'm going to mess with him and play along with his schtick. If he calls again, I will pick the phone up and start yelling, "DID I WIN, DID I WIN!!!!?" and be ecstatic about everything he says and go from there.

I received a call from this number just a moment ago, no one on the line

Today I received a call from this number stating that my phone number had been selected by the Texas State something to receive two round trip airfare packages. I then asked what that entailed and the lady on the line rushed to say "You come to my office to pick up the package...you come to my office to pick up the package." Then she hung up on me. Very strange. She had an Indian accent.

Keeps calling and not saying anything or leaving messages.  I called back and also got the google voice mail.

The first time I received a call, the guy with the accent told me that I won something.  I told him that he had the wrong number and he said, no, I have the right number, then, hung up.  That was two weeks ago.  Now, I receive calls from that number up to 10 times per day.  They don't say anything when I answer nor do they leave a message when I don't answer.

How do you get these folks to shtop?

After I answered I actually heard a guy say something to someone else, then they hung up.

I too am recieving lots a calls a day from this company. They hung up. I have been rude to them and they hang up and today I sounded interested to talk to them and they gave me the address to come down and get my free vacation package. They said they recieved my number from TX State Giveaway. The speakers name is Harry. About to make a report.

They did the same exact thing to me!  The first time they started calling it was 15 times in one day!  They have been calling everyday for the past 2 weeks, multiple times a day.  I can't answer the phone during the day while I'm at work, so when I finally get off, I have a million missed calls from this number.  I actually was able to answer the phone one time and it was a guy with an accent who hung up on me!  I am really irritated with this number calling me all day every day!  I wish I knew how to get them to stop, or get them on the phone long enough to bi*** them out!

I have the same problem now somebory is calling me from this number but never said anything, three, four times a day.

I too have been receiving calls from this number and no one answers they simply stay on the line, listen for a bit, and then they hang up. When I try to call them back it says "the google subscriber you are trying to reach is unavailable"

I am also getting calls every day. When I answer they say a few words then hang up.  Don't answer calls from this number. It is very odd because they don't appear to be selling anything.

This number has called multiple times now and always hangs up. When I call back it goes to a Google voice mail. Today when it called and I answered a lady with an accent mumbled something and hung up... This is getting old :/  Just glad to know it's not some creeper.

I keep getting calls from this number when I pick up they hang up. I want the calls to stop or I am going to call the police.

I have gotten 7 calls every few minutes apart on 2/24/2012 and again today, I got 9 calls a few minutes apart and you can't call back, it goes to google voice subscriber who of course is not available.  The guy has an accent like from India or Pakistan and never leaves a message, just says Hello a few times each time he calls.  How do you get these calls to stop besides unplugging my phone every day and night?

I have gotten a phone call from this number every day for the last three days, some times twice a day. And now twice in a row today. Yesterday I finally got tired of it and answered the phone. Some guy from India asking me if I had loans to pay off. I told him to quit calling me. Obviously that had no effect as they called back twice in a row today, once at 9:04 and then again at 9:10. Called the number back and it went to a voice mail.

This number calls every day, when I answer they disconnect.  I try to call back and it goes to voice mail
