His tactics are scatter-gun approach and does try to play the card of you knowing him to pitch network security by cold calling.

Wouldn't work with anyone like that ever.

David is a technology reseller for ANI in the Dallas area.  Legit company and legit reseller, his tacticts are just textbook telesales i suppose.

He called us selling PGP encryption products.

Dave's at it again.  He called asking for a previous employee who was fired and said he needed to talk to me because he "Needs to know who his contact is."  He gave this number. I was immediately suspicious, found this and glad I didn't call.  I am curious about who he is working for.  This number is a Dallas Area code and prefix.

Caller identified himself as David.  I actually did return the call (before finding this website) and my call went straight to a voicemail saying that he was away from his desk.  I did not leave a message.

I received a call from this number today as well.  He identified himself as David Love.  I didn't return his call.

I also received a call from this number today.  He did in fact identify himself as Dave Love and made implications he knew me too.  I don't know him and based on this thread did not call him back.

Guy calls and leave message with this number 214-764-6567 on my work phone. He attempts to act like he knows me by calling me by my given name and implying that we're acquaintances. He says he's Dave Lobe (or Love, it wasn't clear)and that we haven't talked for awhile and he needs to talk to me. This is some sort of scam or sales trick -- I don't know anyone by that name, and anyone who really knows me sure the heck doesn't call me by my given name - I go by a nick name. Naturally, I didn't return the call.
