Got a call from them on September 30 saying my daughter requested study materials for the PSAT.  He gave the impression he was from College Board and was calling because she checked off a box saying she wanted materials to study at home.  I said our school provides them and he said "not true".  I knew for a fact my son got materials from school 2 years ago.  He said he'd call back in time for SATs.  When I told him my daughter was enrolled in a course already, he hung up.

This number called me three times a day trying to sell me ACT study guides.  I have asked to be removed from calling list only to have phone slammed in my ear. How can I get them to stop calling me?

This company is a SHAM and a SCAM!  They are also very rude when you don't buy into the lies.  Apparently they have a few #'s, I had call blocked the last # 214-845-6850 they used to contact me.  I truly hope the law catches up with this group.

I just recd a similar call - the lady said that she is calling from Student Services and she is my child's SAT/ACT advisor and calling because my child indicated desire to go to collage.  She wanted to mail some material to us to  help prepare. We can return if we don't like it. She was very pushy and trying to tell me that it is in the best interest of your child and that your child knows exactly what is needed. She wanted to confirm the address and wanted a credit card number. When I refused to give my credit card number, she hung up the call. It worries me that she had access to my phone number and address already.

They called, nobody there when I picked up the phone. Caller ID says Student Service.

I also got the same call.  I told the caller I was not going to give them my credit card info over the phone and that I needed to speak with my daughter before buying anything.  The woman was extremely pushy and said she needed to be on the phone so she give me some order number.  She finally pointed me to the website www.studyforyourexitexams.com  

I got suspicious as she was just so pushy.  I told her now that I have the website I could order on my own.  She said, "what if you have questions, who would you ask for?"  I said, "Customer Service"  She said her name was Ms. Powell.  

I also believe this is a scam and I am glad I did not fall victim.

My mom got a call from "Student Services, Mr. Savage" and he said that I needed some SAT Studying CD's  and I am not even scheduled to take it. They wanted her credit card information and she figured out it was a scam, but she remaind polite trying to get him to call back later. He was QUITE disapointed when she said she wouldn't take up his offer, only THEN did he give in to calling later...which she has no intention of answering ;) DO NOT GIVE INTO THIS SCAM!!!!!

Just received a call from here stating this was my child's SAT advisor and that I had checked off a box stating (s)he  was wanting to go to college.  Then she asked if I was aware of my child's testing schedule (she asked 3 times).  When I told her my child had already taken the SAT and asked how could she be an advisor from out of state, she hung up.  When I looked up caller ID, it said "Student Services" --- the area code is Dallas, TX.  When I tried to redial it, it went to an automatic beeping. Obvious SCAM.

Just got call from this number.  Student Services about being my child's advisor for the SAT.  When asked how they got our number they hung up.

This caller didn't leave a message for my high school student.  Caller Id is Student Services.  Reverse
lookup indicates the call is from Dallas, Texas.

They called my phone and didn't leave a message for my student.  The ID said Student Services in Dallas,Tx.

I recieved a call from this place on 8/16/11 and the caller Id was "Student Services"  This is one of many scams aimed at High School parents and students.  This person said they were my child's advisor for the upcoming SAT tests.  I said my child was not taking the SAT tests and they got quiet and the phone disconnected.  They are only trying to get money.  One other one wanted me to buy $400.00 worth of study material.  I said that there was no way I was buying this over the phone.  Do not fall victim to these scammers.

Got a call from them today and no answer so i thought i would look the number up. I'm going to be a junior in high school this year and our school is hosting a PSAT this October, but i didn't signup for anything. Just find it weird.

I also received a call from this number. They said they were my child's SAT's advisor and since they had checked off college as a goal, would I be supporting my child with the study materials needed to score highly and get into a "good college"? I told them I have no idea who they are and why they were talking to me. If they wished to mail me instead..They hung up.

I just got a call from this number too.  They asked to speak with my husband's mom or dad, I asked what for, and they hung up.  Very shady.  Caller ID just showed Texas as the name.

You people think you're so smart! How can you lay your head down at night and sleep guilt free is beyond reason. Using childrenseducation to scam parents out of their hard earned money takes a sick, twisted person, and let me tell you something, every one of you that works for that company will be judged by the LORD come judgement day for what you are doing. Trying to sell "study materials" for upcoming PSAT. Was trying to get me to buy for $129  right now. Because if I didn't buy right now I wouldn't get the offer. Asked if she could have my expiration number on my charge card and then she would have asked me for my number. She was trying to say my son signed up for PSAT. And She Had called my husband a week ago. I called my son in the room and asked if he had signed up for anything, he said he had never signed up for anything. All a SCAM. I never gave her my charged card expiration date or anything else which to me raised warning bells.I slammed the phone in her ear and that was it.

This person called trying to pass herself off as a contractor for our local public school district, "providing" our daughter "study materials" for the upcoming PSAT.  She got extremely defensive and rude when we asked for credentials proving she was sanctioned by the county school district. In fact, the caller told us that we wasted HER time by questioning her validity.  Wow.

Seemed legitimate at first, actually believable.  Caller ID said "Student Service."  Knew our last name, was very courteous, and seemed genuinely helpful at first.  But after referencing the National Merit Scholarship, promising at least a minimum award, and sounding like an academic counselor of some kind, she eventually got around to referencing their return policy, that if my daughter doesn't find the study material useful...  Aha!!  Finally, it's becoming clear this is a cold call disguised as a response to a request from my daughter for help.  Sly deception preying on parental concern.  But when I asked HER some questions about SPECIFICALLY who she was working for it broke down.  Extreme deception and an offensive attitude once exposed!!  After a few minutes, each time I tried calling back this Dallas, TX number I get only a busy signal.  They're busy alright...busy scamming!!

This person calls and requests you finish their application at a local university. I have never been to Texas or any of their universities. I am located in Huntington Beach. CA and when I try to tell the people I am not from the area they choose to argue with me and try to prove me wrong.
