Received a phone call from my city police station number from a guy with an accent telling me to turn myself in, but also gave this number to call to find out what is going on.

SCAM ALERT!!! This number is honestly from scammers. There's this guy with a middle Eastern accent who keeps calling my phone. I called my local Sheriffs office & it's a scam. Please do not give these people your information or money! Please

they called me too from my police station i called the police station back they said it was a scam and there is a way they can make you think they are calling from the police station

But they called my Sheriff office, and I verified the Sheriff office number saying that they were going to come after me if I didn't call this officer back. Is this truely a scam?

thanks to officer william bratton for taking me out of this legal matter,i was getting lot of fraud calls before but officer bratton helped me out of all this,they have send me an certified e mail and than i called financial crimes and enforcement network and found it to be a legit.

Got an email claiming to be the financial crimes enforcement network. Telling me that they are coming after me for committing financial crimes. Last time I checked I didn't do anything illegal!! The email was very threatening. And they called me a couple moths back. When I told them I would gladly give the number to my lawyer so he could take care of it the man hung up on me.
