I received a call from this number but didn't answer. In reading the above comments I see something about bladder mesh... I received 2 calls today from 212-447-8568 which also appears to be a scam related to bladder/vaginal mesh.

they keep calling about these two weeks , ask about my family heathy , i didn't know these indian guys;  when i call back to this num , it just say the num is not in service , i think they calling from some VOIP client , like google voice/skype . did not know how to do , just didnot want to get the that call again!

They've been calling me almost every day for 3 weeks.  When I ask where from they say the "State Compensation of MI"  I asked for their Lansing Number.  When I finally asked for them to NOT call me back he hung up on me..  I Know they jerk will call me back tomorrow...  UGH!

The man on the phone said the same thing to me as well, he was Indian, I know that. I asked him not to call me back but he has at least 4 times now and he has my full name.....is there anything that can be done about this that you are aware of?

I have been called by this number at least 4 times since the week before Thanksgiving. The Indian guy had my FULL NAME, which is scaring me quite a bit. He told me that I have been at risk for some health issue or exposed to something, not sure. I have asked him to stop calling me but he will not. He called me again today and I cannot call the number back. I am scared because he has my full name.

Stated that they were calling from State Health Department. Since area code is 214 I asked if they were calling from Texas, he said no, Florida. "Paul White" started asking about past surgeries, antidepressants, and birth control. Told me I could get medical compensation for this and he wanted to get me money. Hung up.

Called but left no message.

This call is a telemarketer, stating that they believe that the female who answers the phone had bladder mesh surgery. When I asked for a number to call them back they said yes i will call you back can you tell me a time to call back. I said no i will call you back at a time more convenient for me. said this to them three different times.  Finally when i said no you will give me a call back number they hung up on me. I tried to call the number back and it does not receive incoming calls. What a freeking SCAM. Too bad that they did not realize that they called a paralegal who will report them to everywhere that I can and have them shut down. (Although I will not obsess over idiots) but I do have ways of dealing with people like this.

10:30 AM today (12/27). Thick Indian accent asking for my wife. Didn't believe I don't have a wife. Hung up on him while he was still jabbering. Now blocked. (My $99 call block device was a great investment in sanity.)

I get calls from this number, 214-897-5521, all day long.  They never leave a message, and when my voicemail picks up the call, they person on the other end keeps saying, HELLO, HELLO, HELLO, CAN YOU HEAR ME, as if the answering machine will answer back.  What a joke.  The person has a very thick accent from India.  It is so annoying.  I am so tired of it.  You even say, DON'T CALL MY NUMBER, and when you hang up, they call right back and the process is repeated.  This needs to stop.

Just got a call from this number from Texas. Didn't answer and no voicemail was left . I have gotten calls from this number before and same thing always happens. Needs to stop calling very aggravating .

I receive phone calls from this phone number all the time. I live in Minnesota, the call is from Texas, so I have never answered it. I figured it if was important enough, they would leave a message, which they never do. When I try to call the phone number back, I get the "Sorry, the number you have reached is not in service..." message. Extremely annoying!!

Told this guy to stop calling. I hung up. As soon as I Hung up he called back. I yelled at him to stop calling as I am on the DNC list. Before I could block him he called a third time. I hung up again and blocked him. Most annoying

Received call, did not answer as I am not familiar with this number, no message left.

12/26 12:45 PST  Just now, did not answer since I don't know 214 area code.  Rang thru to voicemail, someone asking for me by nickname, saying "Hello,.." as if machine is going to answer him.  Sounds Indian and seem to be getting a lot of calls from people with heavy accents.  I am starting to get really pissed and stubborn about protecting my long-standing phone #.
