No, YOU are stupid if you think you can convince anyone that an all-caps rant from an idiot such as you has any truth in it. Collection agencies can NOT freeze your bank account. They cannot garnish wages except in specific circumstances and even then only AFTER going to court.

Buzzt!  Sorry, try again.  They can't freeze your bank account without a court order.

Please identify the court and the plaintiff.

Ah but now SK, we knew the miscreant would not reappear. Not once a modicum of intelligence appeared to contradict him. The ability to even understand what a Summons would state, or even imply, is far beyond the comprehension of a cubicle-clown from a bottom-feeding or bogus debt collection outfit. That would be like a dog looking backward, after licking his a**, and being able to read his own tag. Not going to happen.
Godspeed,
Gunnar

You are correct Sir!  If they really were an angry consumer who cared to "vindicate" their name, they would have complied with my request.  Also, (in regards to their intelligence) I believed I made a flawed assumption that they would be able to read a summons.

My bad and apologies to all (but the shills)

My guess, SK, is that "justme" is busily trying to find some inane records to use. He'll then post some ridiculous BS here. Under a different alias. They never can come to grips with the fact that we can take them apart, piece by piece, faster than they can even think. They're just not very bright.

@Justme

Over a half an hour ago I asked you for the name of the "Plaintiff".  Given your confrontational posture earlier regarding folks questioning your integrity I figured you would respond to be immediately.   Regrettably, I am still awaiting this information.

Should you not produce this information folks with be force to conclude you have made false statements in this forum and this number is a "scam".

I am again requesting the name of the Plaintiff

Govern yourself accordingly!

Snyper, I understand and I appreciate your skepticism.  I've asked the OP (who claimed to be served) for the name of the Plaintiff.  If s/he would be kind enough to provide it, I can check some records to see what I find.  As always, I will share what I find with the community here!

First, we have many people who come here making false statements to deceive consumers to lend legitimacy to a scam (we call this folks "shills").  One of the most common tactics if to say they we "served" or "arrested".

However, I understand and respect you need for privacy (but I am skeptical of your claim).  As luck would have it, some folks here have access to resources to check on litigation quickly, and all I would name is the name of the company that sued you.  They will be listed under "Plaintiff" on the documents you recieved.  I don't need, nor do I desire, you personal information.  If this is a group that files suit frequently, they will appear quickly.

I will post what I find and I can assure you any "regular" who confronted you will apologize.

I await your positive response!

No, snyper is doing what we do here. We expose frauds! If you were served any papers, you have info. on this outfit...POST IT!
Remove your personal info. Just give the info. on this outfit that has to be included with any summons. You won't post a verifiable thing because you weren't served a damn thing. You're a fraud! You know that, we know that.

I just got served at home also.  Right after I finish my my Anti Pasta Salad I am going to attack this Pizza that I was just served with.  Funny, the guy that served me did not have a badge or papers for me but still wanted a tip.  Since he brought me food instead i figured i should give him one.  How much did you tip your server?  I never get that right should it be 10% or 20% for someone who serves you Pizza at your home?

Prove it.  What court room, what judge, what is the docket number.  If you can't post proof then you must retract, otherwise you will be labelled a shill and laughed at for all eternity.

Since court cases are public record, we should be able to verify the voracity of your claim once you produce proof.

PS - Normally police don't serve papers, they have real process servers for that.  If it was a cop, you should be able to produce their name, badge number, precinct...

There are hundreds of people who post to this forum claiming they were served or they had to go to court.  When asked for proof, none of them were able or willing to produce it.  Therefore, they are labelled shills.  If you are unable or unwilling to provide proof that you were served or had to go to court, you fall in the same category.  I don't have any more nerve than any one else here who is trying to sort out the fakes and frauds from the people with really problems looking for help.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

?is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
?refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
?asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
?exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

?Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.?Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
?Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
?Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
?Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.

Debt Collector
I got a call from this number yesterday referencing a payday loan that I missed making all final repayments on. The caller stated that I had 2 charges pending against me claiming I was attempting to defraud. He said he was officer Daniel Patrick. The message stated that if I failed to respond a warrant would be issued for my arrest at my place of employment or home residence.
Was all of the prosecution threatening legal?
I was then asked to call another person...representing the law firm handling the case and clear this up and make final payments etc.
