I have receive the very same message over and over again, about three or four times a month.  This has been going on for about a year.  I ask three different times to remove my number from their directory over the year, but I still get the calls.

I keep on getting phone calls from 1-951-878-5072 and it's an indian guy claiming that there is a law suit against my S.S number.He asked if I had an attorney and it sounded like there was a lot going on in the background.I called the number back and it connects me to an automated wal-mart recording.It's gone far beyond harassment!I have a phone plan through wal-mart,I'm wondering if somebody compromised personel information about me and probably other customers of wal-mart.I insulted him with some nasty names and he came right back with the insults.If he was really a professional he would'nt of handled the call like that.

I fell for the scam. I am glad you didn't. I am getting a lawyer to investigate it. They are trying to use another number too. Thanks for cluing me in on how foolish I have been and thank you to the internet for this webpage.

They are payday loan people harassing me for money and I fell for their scam. Says his name is John Butler from uscashnet.

this guy is a big scammer says his name is oscar white with law firm in Austin Tx. I told him that he sounded like Oscar White from India. He got pissed when I told him this is a recorded line. He wanted my phone number. I told him i would give my 800 number, he said no I need the local number. When he said he a large legal complaint against me he wanted my SS, and if I knew about the complaint. I told him that if it was a complaint he already had my SS and mail me a copy and hu. Funny little b*****d.. My name is Oscar White an i werk park time circle k and mircosoft you kall me back quik.

We have received several calls from this same number. A Middle Eastern Accent using the name(s) Oscar White and Ronnie Cooper. He claimed to have information regarding a law suit for my boss. Reported to the CA. Attorney Generals Office.

My daughter just called me in a panic. Some "Indian guy" left a message on her cell phone telling her that she better call him back right away - or her lawyer -  or all he could tell her was "good luck". We called the number back from my work phone and he claimed to be from some law firm. You could hear a lot of other talking in the back ground - other idiots on similar calls. He just kept trying to pump information out of us. I am so naive that I cannot believe that people do these unscrupulous things. Go back to your own effing country. It is so scary that just anyone can obtain your personal information. How do you report these people. Stay off of Amazom.com kid!

These guys are a piece of work can hardly speak english. I asked to speak with a person i could understand. Said I owed USCASH NET (never heard of them) $461.00 but now $4000.00, however he could help me stop legal action if a maded a payment over the phone. I googled the phone and found all of the above and had a blast when he called me back. I told him he should try another country us American's are way to smart for his little game. I told him I would pray for him. Then he called back 3 more times and some how he had it come up on my phone "EMERGENCY NUMBER" never saw that before, kind of clever but still a very big non american speaking fool. Going to file my report too. PS I told the dumb fool he should really google his own phone number it would keep him busy for awhile since he took up 30 minutes of my dinner time.

This guy is a creep. He started out calling our business cellphone and talked to my husband saying all the same things about unpaid loan, court fees, etc. My husband hung up on him but somehow the guy researched our home phone and started calling it too! He has an Indian accent and this time he said his name was Dave turner. He called our house and left a message, called again to leave another message when I picked up and told him to stop calling and that I knew he was a scammer and that his phone number is all over the Internet as a hoax. Well I guess that ticked him off because after I hung up on him he kept calling our home over and over and over. Ridiculous. Verizon blocked the number on our cell but ATT won't without a lot of red tape so we left home phone off the hook for now.

I got a call this morning from someone from "carson lawfirm".  I didnt really understand much of what he was saying because of his heavy accent. I told him I'd rather speak with someone else, he said he was the one handling my case.  What a fraud.

He told me to write info about my case number for a loan I took out in August 2010 for $390 and legal fees for $450.  I told him to mail me the paperwork about the lawsuit and he actually knew my address.  WTH! Im very upset that my address is available like that, he knew my first and last name too. Im so upset that info became available to this scam artist.

He couldnt give me information and was acting very unprofessional arguing about whether I took out this loan.  Something a real lawyer would not do.  If there was really a lawsuit someone would subpoena you and give you the info in person.  This is so redicoulous.  I told him Im not arguing with him, just mail me the info and I will be mailing a cease and decist if this ends up being real.

He knew I meant business and I didnt waste any more time with him.  I told him if I found out this is a scam I was going to report him and I intend on doing so.

This is truly rediculous.  They use various numbers too.  I think its time I refreshed my number on the donotcall list.

This caller from the Carlson Law Firm in Dallas, TX insisted that my wife owes $621.00 to a company called US Cash Net from an online loan taken out over the internet. They were giving me a courtesy call to resolve now instead of this going to court in which they would be suing her for over $4000.

I got calls from these guys and call the Dallas Police Department to check it out.  I was told I should report it to my police department! I am in California so don't think that will help. Although obviously from India or that part of the world, they said their names were Ron Cooper and Andrew Scott!

How do I get these people to stop calling me and/or anyone else? Can this be reported to anyone who could arrest/charge/or otherwise stop these people?

I have received 3 phone calls from this same creeper.  It is definitely something severely creepy and scary.  The voice is definitely mid-Eastern, as everyone above has mentioned.  It is so spooky that these "terrorists" are roaming the telephone lines. The male used the "fake" name JAMES. It is definitely  a voice from India, Pakistan, somewhere in that area.  I am familiar with that diction because of the people I have experienced in the workplace. Again, the same "fake" words of, "I work for the Carrollton Law Firm" and "I will make sure you loose your job" and "I am doing an investigation" and
"you will be arrested" and "I will send an investigation team to your house."  Then, the last words are,
"Have a Blessed Day."  These terrorists learn how to blend in and say certain words to blend in. It is very scary, I wish Homeland Security could be involved.  I am going to have my phone lines tapped by the police and detective depts. The return land-line phone # that is on my caller ID is:214-989-6077.

I received phone call from Carlton Law Firm  there is a law suit being filed against me  and that I was being charged with violating federal banking regulations, collateral check fraud, and theft by deception also that it was being filed with my SS# being tied to my name. Message left was barely understandable, and with all the noise in the background my first thought was.. scam!  Decided to check internet and glad I did!   I will be calling them back with a message of my own.  Will contact my State Attorney General if they call back.

I have received 2 phone calls from James Butler 10/18 &10/19, again thick Indian accent, not very understandable.  Again, like all the above, 3 charges against me, etc.....I am keeping record of them and if something comes along, possibly a lawsuit against them (I won't hold my breath). I will definetly be in line waiting to collect money from them.....LOL!!!

These frauds called me today. They had my name and address, and said they had my social security number. When I pressed them to tell me how they got my social security number, the conversation went in circles. Do not give them any information, and tell them not to bother you again.

getting phone calls from 214-989-6077 telling me i had a loan with ez pay never did he said they deposit money in a bank account with capital one never did have account with them this is a scam

I just received 2 calls from this person today.  I figured it wasn't legal since I can't understand him, and he was asking my SS# and my address.  Im pretty sure that if they were taking legal action they would have all this information.  Said they would take legal action against me if I didn't give them my information.  Something about brank fraud regulations, and maybe credit card fraud.

Received numerous calls from a 214-214-989-6077?  John Butler.  His team of so called lawyers would call me constanly.  They told me I would be arrested, they had my case number and could settle this matter out of court for $500. If they took it to court it would cost me anywhere from 2000, to 3000. I finally figure it was a  scam because I asked them to fax over information to me and they said they could'nt do that and they would call me late in the night. They had me going for a minute. I glad i follow my gutt feeling and found this other blogs.  Be carefull! They need to be sued for harassement.

Got a call several times today they would not leave a message on the 4th call I picked up and they told me I had a lawsuit against me for a loan I took out in 2009 with USCASHNET, I said ok what address did you send the money too and they hung up I called them back and forced them to talk to me by telling them if you want this money back you have to answer my questions, I asked them again what address did you send the money to and he said he could not release that info, then he asked for my attorneys name and I told him that if you have all my info then you know my attorneys name, then I said "dude you need to get a real job I know this is a scam and you failed. I called my sister who works for the New York state attorney generals office and she told me it was a HUGE scam, so I called the # back and got their machine and I left a mess stating if they ever contact me or anyone in New york again that the attorney generals office has made the authority's aware and they know where they are located and to never call me again....so far no calls but the person was clearly from India and his name was Peter...BEWARE!!!!!

These guys just called my old business partner's wife saying there was a pending lawsuit against him. Too bad for them he passed away 2 years ago. She called me all upset. I called the number back and started asking questions. They said they were in Dallas. I asked the guy what time it was. He didn't know. Then I asked where he lived in Dallas. He actually gave me an address. I asked what color his house was. He couldn't answer it. I told them they were disgusting as only an Irishmen can do. They called me back from 2149896077 and 7133709229. If you want to have fun, call these dirtbags and talk to them. Once they got off their script, they couldn't speak a bit of English. Just could say you r a%*hole.

got a message from this number stating that there is a lawsuit filed against me and I would need to give them a call back.  Noone answers when you call back this number, just a machine asking you to leave a message.  This is clear that this is a scam since I  do not owe anyone any money.

They called me as well saying it was a lawsuit against my name and ss#.  I told them to stop calling me because it was a scam.  You could hear other people taliking in the background and it was an echo when he was taliking like he was in an empty room.

I have received 6 calls from this number since Oct. 7th with the same supposed charges pending against me.  This James person threatened 3 separate times that it would only take 10 minutes to trace my phone call after I informed him that the address he was going on about was in fact not my address.  I never gave him any personal information but kept asking him questions which he could not answer.  He then get frustrated and told me, "Be ready with $3000 at the courthouse" and hung up.  SCAM - report this number to the FTC!

Ditto...they are still at it.  I've gotten 2 calls for the last 2 days at about 3:15 EST.  Maybe that's when he can make a call from jail....  they also called me about 4 months ago.  I can't believe he thought I would give him any info after our last exchange.  I knew from the start it was a scam and I was not very nice.  Next time I answer with a blow horn...File a compaint with FTC.  There is an online form that makes it easy.  Maybe if enough people file on this phone number, they can do something about it.

Have had calls from this guy the last 2 days and once about 4 months ago.  Seriously did he really think that I would give him any information after our last exchange.  I've reported it to the FTC which I would encourage you all to do.  There is an online form you can fill out.  I also did a "call trace" thru Verizon.  Not sure what that will do for me but I think if the call is traced 3 times, then I can open a "case" of some sort.  I'm thinking when he calls at 3:15 tomorrow from his "one call per day from Jail"  I might answer with a blow horn...He must read from a script because todays message was like some of them above listing off 3 things that they were going to file against me...I just feel bad for the elderly that this probably scares the heck out of them and they give information.

I just got a call from this guy, claiming his name was John Butler and again the same sort of scenario as above.  When I got stern with him and alerted him that I was on to his scam, he got even more angry with me.  Why the heck would I give my personal information over the phone to someone I don't know.  Is he crazy???   Come on people do your homework

i got a phone call from this number. they stated that i had a lawsuit against me and my ssn.. they wanted me to verify information. i did not! i told them i want their information and they hung up on me. DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE!

They called me as well-  total scam!!!!!!!!!!  They had exactly the same information that was written by 'The Wrong One.'  Said that this was filed by a US Cash Net for $4000 (which I had never borrowed money from before.  They gave me a 'case number' 376660. I asked if I called the State of WI and gave them that case # would anything come up... and they said, not it is just filed with our company.  I said, this is a scam and hung up!
